Serpuhov needs to be redesigned. The gold only drops on in the middle or near the bridge of red teams base(The short one closest to Red teams flag.) Blue team has control over that area when gold is dropping and that means gold box drops aren't random. Golds are supposed to fall where crystals fall. instead they only fall in one area and its very unbalanced as only one team may manage to get it and that is the blue team.

Ok first of all, that isn't true. Gold falls on the bridge and in the ditch too, I know because I have gotten Golds in both of those places. Second, if you don't like it, just play a different map!

I don't play in that map, I only play there when all other battles are dominated by druggers, and in all my past games the gold never dropped on the bridge or ditch, and evne if it does its a slight chance like 6% chance

My favourite map in the whole game. I remember I used to always play this map with Hornet/Railgun and sometimes Shaft/Mammoth back when I was a newbie. I still play this map sometimes, but not as much as it's not as popular in the higher ranks. I'm surprised they haven't changed a thing in this map.

Trust me, Gold Boxes have a small chance to drop whenever the crystal fund rises. It is random.

 

Anyways, I find Serpuhov just fine, and does NOT need to be re-designed. That's ridiculous, it's, in my opinion, one of the most fun "large" maps.

I do agree that the blue team has a bigger advantage as they have 3 spots and red has 2 spots. The one near the ramp, I consider it as blue's spot as if you're in the red team and you stand near the ramp, you're more likely to get killed. So reds have 2/5 chance while blue have 3/5.

It used to fall in the ditch more frequently, now it appears to fall in the middle mostly.

Well I thing Cristal Boxes aren´t random, but Gold Boxes are random because they can fall in all the different places where cristal boxes drop.

You're not wrong, but it's not that big a deal... Maybe, if Gold came a little bit closer to the red team (by a metre or so, not much) maybe it would be more fair.. But that's it. No other changes. Serpuhov is the map of my choise, really great for thrilling persue of the opposite flag, no matter what color it is...  ;)

I find it easier to escape from blue team. And Just cause it falls more closer to blue team doesn't mean they always get it, im saying they mostly get it.
