Open testing of Smart Cooldowns

Smart Cooldown will become a reality, just like all the other updates we had.

 

The best thing druggers imo can do is trying to achieve longer active suppy-times,

shorter cooldowns etc.

 

Or try to get some option in the game so that high-ranked Tankers who like to have drugwars

can still have them.

To be honest, the chances seem to be small, but if you don 't try you will certainly not succeed.

It 's obvious by now that complaining just won 't help.

 

IMO most of the updates we had actually made the game a lot better.

 

For example: with one earlier update the light hulls got a lot more speed.

You won 't find much players complaining over that anymore, almost anyone adapted.

And the majority likes it now!

 

Still when it was introduced all hell broke loose. We quit, awfull, stupid... etc:

just like now...

 

It 's like evolution: Tanki will keep on evolving and it 's up to you if you want to "adapt or leave"

what does having 16k drugs do for U if you dont Use them really? xD

I have 200 of each drug,but I use them so wisely that every month I just Use about 10 of them(for the GB o'course)

and am collecting up from daily bonuses xD

Everyone who are talking about quitting should just quit and stop spamming this topic with completely useless posts especially in that broken English that is impossble to understand. Semyon stated many times that this update will come anyway but your "king pro" heads don't seem to understand that. If you want to quit, just quit, why are you telling all of us you'll do that? It's not like people who want to kill themselves walk around and tell others that they'll commit suicide.

You use 10 in month, in one battle some people use 400 and more

Dev's, there is a very simple solution to stop all this crazy arguing. Simply add a Full-Drug version to Pro Battles! Since the only people complaining about this update are people who can easily afford to play Pro, this is a simple and effective solution that caters to everyone's needs, and boom, happy players for you!

Geez, if the devs were as smart as the players who were saying this... Tanki would be a better place!

I hate to disagree with the majority of the people here but,these smart cooldowns are great and coming from a supplie buyer/drugger there great,if you learn the right combo you can really end up with at least one drug on for a whole battle be smart and use them in the right combo (ps:3/2/4/1/5). And this update adds lots of new battle tactics needed to be formed and made to be successful in battle.

Although they're not perfect they could use some fine tuning for example Double power/armor maybe time reduced by 1-2.5 seconds and or take away the fact that if you use N2O then pick up Double power that Double armor should not reset for time wait

I noticed that when I'm full health, and I push "1", in consumes my First-Aid and shows the regeneration icon.

 

Is this a bug, or actually part of the update?

so how do we get you guys to get rid of the update?

I have heard there will be a facebook page where people can show support and protest to not buy anymore crystals if this update comes without option to have full drug pro battles. If many people stop buying - it will hurt Tanki hard.

And then they will move on and get another job in some other gaming area. If Tanki falls apart, players will be hurt more than the devs.

Well, after the first test....

I 'm sorry to say I 'm dissapointed. :(

And I was (still am) strongly against constant drugging...

 

First things first;

This update was supposed to take away the possibility of constant drugging. It doesn't.

Everybody still can come with drugs all the time, only not all together but with one or two.

Somehow, it doesn't feel ballanced.

 

Second, not having all supplies the same cool down period, I had to pay attention to lower left of screen, missing important momments / actions in the battle (in the center). Problem. I can't calculate which supply I 'll use next (or will be available) and at the same time drive my tank in the middle of the battle......... :wacko:

 

Third, what exactly is the "smart" thing in the order of cooling  down? Certain strategies may come handy with the specific order of cooling down, others not. Many times I was too early near the enemy base but I couldn't use what I needed, while some other supply that I didn't need was at my disposal.. other times, my most valiable supply was out of reach and I couldn't do what I planned to do... :unsure:

Furthermore, there are times that all three supplies are necesary. Bye bye that option, no matter what we are told. (having all three activated just for 5 seconds and then loosin one, is not the same with using all together at the same momment)

Bottom line, I really don't think that TO Devs can calculate a "proper" or "best" way of using the supplies in a specific order. The game is so complex, always diverting due to different players' actions, that nobody can say which supply will be needed what time...

 

Conclusion; my initial opinion is that this update is not good. (I will be sure tommorow, after another testing). Bad idea to limit this way the use of supplies. Come on guys, it was a thought, it had a reason, a certain logic.. but application shows that it won't solve the problem, it will only disguise it.

The real solution is to limit the total time of use, by increasing the cooling of supplies for a certain amount of time. That's the way for anybody not to be able to repeat 234 without spending some time "naked".

And for the allowed period let anybody decide what combination of supplies he / she will use.

 

p.s. Even if you decide to go on with the update, don't include Health and Mines in the "smart" coold down. Making these two unreachable when needed is the worst idea regarding the whole issue...

 

p.s.2  I think there should be a chance for constand use of supplies (so that druggers will be happy and the company .. as well) in PRO battles, using an "unlimited supplies" button. That's fair, for constant users (and top ranks that have no other opportunity in spending their crystalls).

 

p.s.3 THANKS for giving us the opportunity to test not only the use of supplies but advance gismo as well. It was like a day in Disneyland, never to be forgotten :D :P :wub:

An answer to all of you who suggests adding a Drug option to PRO battle settings:

 

This will just mess things up. The PRO battles are called "PRO" for a reason. This is a hardcore mode for hardcore gamers, this is how it was designed originally. Adding an unlimited supply option to it will make it more casual, which is the opposite of what we want.

 

Despite the overall mood of this topic we believe that the overwhelming majority of players will enjoy smart cooldowns. Because in the end, the game is interesting not when you can easily kill your opponents, it's interesting when it gives you a challenge and teaches you something. And this is why we need smart cooldowns.
