Unable to play Tanki Online on standalone flash player in win 8

I have been playing Tanki Online on the standalone flash player for ever now but ever since I got a new PC which has windows 8.1, I can no longer play Tanki using the standalone flash player.  There never was a problem when I was using windows 7.  I get the following error when I launch tanki using the standalone flash player:

Fatal error. Resource id: 500002700, resource version: 1405413847945 [iOErrorEvent type=ioError" bubbles=false cancelable=false eventPhase=2 text="Error #2032]

I am using the Flash player version 11 which I downloaded using the link proviced in Tanki forum.

Can someone please help to debug this problem?  Has anyone else run in to this issue in windows 8?

I'll try both suggestions later today and post an update.

I also read in anohter chat forum that disabling the flash plugin from the browser might work.  Of course the flash player plugin in the browser is a different version than the standalone version and not sure if this would cause any conflict or not.  Has anyone had to do that before?

I'll experiment with this today as well and post the update.

I have tried clearing the shared objects but that hasn't helped.

I am not sure if there is any suggestions in the "Help find the solutions #2" thread.  Mostly I am just seeing players posting their issues.

If anyone has any other suggestion, I would certianly appreciate it.

So did any of these suggestions work?

Problem Solved.

I appears that there was either a space or some unprintable character at the end of the tanki servr link when I copied and pasted the link in to the standalone player from tanki forum.  I saw someone suggest that fix in another thread.  I deleted the last two characters in the link "en" and re-typed it to make sure there was no space or any other unprintable character at the end of the link.  Now Tanki works on both standalone version 11 and 15.

Thank you guys for your responses.  Now I can enjoy tanki again.  Get to the battle everyone  : -)
