Firebirds AfterBurn

Tanki can you guys make firebirds afterburn to be 5 seconds, like really freeze returns to normal after about 3 seconds, but with firebird you don't and firebird already has high damage. Also I have found when using firebird the burn effect is to long and players kill steal. Can you guys make like so it gets done in 5 seconds? Like get over it.

Firebirds afterburn at m3 full MU is 60 seconds, it slowly damages the enemy throughout those 60 seconds. if it were decreased to 5 seconds they would take massive damage in a very short amount of time thus making firebird OP.

Firebird's long burning is not suited for actually destroying enemy tanks. This feature serves different purpose.

 

Long afterburn is not there to directly benefit firebird itself, but to encourage enemy tanks either to support one another via Isis and Freeze or to force enemy tanks to act. Action taken can waried from using first kit to expose burning tank to enemy fire to die faster. Firebird itself can use it for its advantage only if player knows how it works and how to apply it properly. For example, you can ignite several tanks and force them to burn, while not using whole charge to kill single tank. It is a gamble due to kill steals, but its a feature to play with.

 

And yeah, we are thinking about making kill steals obsolete in team battles. TDM already use score sharing when damaging enemy tank is enough to get some points. We will consider it to be implemented in other team modes as well.
