Ideas for Parkour!

 Share

Recommended Posts

It is a one type of business in Tanki, for example buyers will buy drugs and use them in prkr mode by killing other people and then for show-off they will buy crystals for MU'ing their equipment.

Easy $$

If kills and lost aren't counted it would be the same, except for those that kill for K/D.

This may even be better for Tanki, because more players would do parkour because then they'll not be afraid of hurting their K/D.

And if it's not enough for Tanki business, they could remove supply drops to make players spend their supplies.

Or

1.We all know the k/d of the parkourists are not so good

So the kills in Parkour mode should not be counted , It dosent give any Exp so why kills

2.Make the tanks invinsible , so the tricks can be done easy , and the killing issue will also be solved

2nd one will stop the $$ from RK Ofc

wish the 1st idea u said happened- i think it was already suggested. . .

i hate stupid killers , and the fact that  they are perfectly allowed AND not at ALL discouraged by mods. . .(once i saw a mod killing in parkour . . .)

stupid tanki

also, for making tanks invisible, whats the point? u could just make a private battle. plus, what if u want to do non-omp parkour?

I suggested this some time ago under another account name. One of the Mods (don't remember which one) said that it probably wouldn't be implemented since K/D doesn't mean anything. (Or to that effect). It was put under review.

This isn't mine, but you can see how the discussion went.

This is my first-ever post in an existing topic, and not ironically, it involves my favorite field of parkour: OMP.

Now, the last piece of my history in this game (at least, in the public eye on this account): My first Discord post in the most famous Tanki Discord server. There's a promo code waiting there for you, and it has more than one container in it!

Of course, you will need to know what the most famous Tanki Discord server is, and you have to know how to find my oldest post there...

One Man Parkourist Supply Support

Hello parkour enthusiasts, administrators, and other people! I have started this topic to propose a new feature inside of the game we all love and play - Tanki Online. My idea concerns those people that enjoy making YouTube videos about a certain type of parkour - One Man Parkour (OMP). This type of parkour is uploaded nearly as frequently as team parkour montages, except this type of parkour is vastly different. Besides, of course, only involving a single parkourist, this type of parkour has several factors that determine the success of a trick (See One Man Parkour: Guide). First of all, OMP parkourists must have knowledge of many different techniques that are common in One Man Parkour tricks (See Parkour Dictionary), but good One Man Parkourists also have to be innovative, and look for props, obstacles or other ways to create new OMP tricks. The problem with One Man Parkour, however, is that in order to perform a good or even decent trick, it takes a toll on the parkourist's supply count. My solution to this problem (which is my point in making this forum topic) is to provide One Man Parkourists with supply support, similar to that given to excellent parkour clubs (See Parkour Clubs Support). I am not sure on the logistics (EX. How often they would get support, how many supplies they would get, the specifications for how to get this type of support, etc.), but I think this idea should be at least considered. One Man Parkour is a very popular type of videos, and those who are major parts of this community should be rewarded for their efforts. Thank you for reviewing this forum topic!  ?

And how do you wanna tell those players from others? Unless those one-man parkour players create their own topics somewhere or a section is made for them just like the parkour clubs...anyone can say that he/she is doing one-man parkour, therefore, making him/her eligible for the support.

I considered support for parkourists who aren't a part of a parkour club in the past, but eventually didn't implement it mainly because many OMPists use cheats to make tricks more easily, and it's nearly impossible to notice these cheats. So many people will end up getting supplies for being good cheaters, which might even encourage more players to cheat.

5 possible ways for this to work is:

1. Your idea essentially, that each OMPist creates his/her own forum page, and is well-known

2. Uploaded a specific number (or more) of OMP montages

3. Has a certain number of subscribers on YouTube (This might be possible though, since some YouTubers upload OMP and other content)

4. Has uploaded at least a certain number of new OMP tricks

5. Each OMPist has hit a certain threshold of views on their OMP montages

I don't know exactly how many views they would have to get, how many montages they must upload, how their forum page would be considered "well-known," or the number of new OMP tricks they must have uploaded

This is an issue, but this issue holds true to team parkour as well. You were able to determine which parkour clubs cheat, and which ones don't, so I am sure that there is a possible way for you to prove whether an OMPist cheats or not.

Parkour clubs are not many, they can be checked thoroughly, but tens of OMP videos every week are beyond my capability. And given that some people manage to become famous OMPists while using cheats with almost no one realizing that they cheat, it's too hard to find a whole team of judges that can be trusted to be good enough.

I said that the cheats are the main problem, but they're not the only problem. The scale of this project is also a big problem, who said that OMPists deserve supplies more than parkourists that do different style of parkour? There are a lot of team parkour tricks that are much harder than most OMP tricks, and if we end up giving supplies to potentially the whole parkour community the situation will really go out of control, it's too many players, too many videos to watch, too big team of judges needed and too many supplies given to so many players which will cause tanki to lose money because a big number of players will stop buying supplies.

Was it really necessary to specify the game?

Obviously, people who benefit from this support this, people who dont dont like this. I myself personally lost about 300RK and a bunch of other stuff, so I kinda died when they had the x2 fund, i had 28 rk then.

I only had m0 equipment, with thunder m1 and viking m1, which the only thing I could do is go up the small house in industrial zone. For that i didnt use any suplies, but when I tried to go up the huge building, which I obviously couldn't, I wasted so much.

But I dont like this as it will benefit only a certain amount of people, and it will be unfair.

M1/M2 CONTESTS

---

Mostly M3/M4 tanki clubs/groups win because they can do more parkour with their higher ranked gear. M1/M2 don't win events like MoP because they can't make that good of tricks with weaker equipment. So there should be an event for M1/M2 players in parkour. A parkour contest for M1/M2's.

Changing Equipment in Parkour Battles

Hello. My Idea is that if someone wants to do parkour with his friends in private battle and he needs to change again and again according to parkour trick's required equipment he only has 2 options. First one to leave and re-join the battle and second to wait 5 minutes.Which is simply annoying !!

In Parkour battle , timer of 5 minutes should be removed and players should be allowed to change to anything they like.So they won't have to wait 4-5 minutes to change to other turrets and hulls.

If not in Public parkour battles at least in private parkour battles OR This should be made as an option when a player is creating a battle

I agree with this idea. There is no reason to have to wait 5 mins just to change

yeah. Tanki updates thing we don't really need and they never update the things we need. Still waiting on Juggernaut though  !

Longer pause time in parkour battles only

It wouldn't hurt gameplay if we returned the 5 minute pause time in parkour battles only, would it?

Heck, we could also make it to 10 or even 15 minutes long.

What do you guys think? :)

I saw some players using some third-party apps to remain and stay in parkour battles without being kicked for hours and hours and hours, I rather get this than use some third-party apps.

I don't see a point. It's not like you lose any score if you leave a parkour battle, so there's no reason to let you stay AFK longer. All you lose is your spot, but it's easy to get that back since people often leave parkour battles (the public ones).

Hi..could you stop the effect of opponent weapon damage in parkour battles? , as doing stunts would become all the more difficult

Space mode 2

A second space mode, where tanks can fly with turbines and little wings popping out of their hull. Using the arrow keys :D

Lot of fun, but at the end Tanki Online is a Tank game... Already with the main Space Mode, we slowly lose the main purpose of the game. I mean, it's fun, but at the end, it has to be in the context of Tanks in general
