Ideas for Parkour!

All of your ideas are quixotic, to be honest. Tanki won't even dare to do this because they know that it will ruin their game. I don't think there is anyone who can pay a fine that big. 

Punishments are a BAD way to solve bad things. It's like beating your child because he didn't get good grades. Sure it may work because he will be afraid of getting beaten again, but in most cases, those children turn out to be worse than their parents. They become revolting and cause harm to others too. A better method is to explain them the mistake (not possible in Tanki) or to suspend them (possible). 

If your son comes 1 hour late to home after playing, suspend them from playing. See the idea? My concept maybe wrong too, but it's certainly better than yours.

 

I'm pretty sure I didnt say any form of "fine" :ph34r:

Since the addition of Magnum, it is possible to use a light hull and Magnum to go very high up (open the spoiler at the end for the technique). This often results in self-destruction because the player reaches the anti-cheat height limit. I propose that the "ceiling" is a bit higher in Space Mode parkour battles so that parkourists do not accidentally self destruct.

 

 

Light hull + Magnum. Turret 90 degrees, straight up. Shoot once with 100% power, after reload shoot again with 50% power, and then one more time with 10% power. Then immediately bring the turret back to 10% angle, do a handstand on the front of your tank, and shoot at the ground as soon as you finish reloading. All 3 shots will come down at the same time and will propel you very far.

I have sort of an interesting idea for isida. There will be 3 different modes to choose from: heal/attack (current), attack, or heal.

 

 

- heal/attack; this is what currently is in the game.

 

- attack; this is a mode that if selected, the isida can damage anyone.

 

- heal; similar to attack but replaces damage by healing anyone.

Important suggestion:

In V-Log 137 at 0:49, it's said that repair kit will stop healing if the one using it gets shot, so doing those super cool overpowered jumps will now be almost impossible. Could the developers please make an exception and disable that feature in Parkour mode only?

But kill spree'ers will still be able to abuse that. So to reduce that from happening I have a better idea. If the person gets a certain amount of kills within a certain amount of time (example: 10 kills in 2 minutes) then thats when the new repair kit will come in play. And if that person stops killing, then his kill count will go down by 1 every minute that he doesn't kill.

The scenario which you are talking about is public parkour, nor private. Your idea is nice, but that requires more coding, whereas just keeping the old code in parkour modes stay there is enough and doesn't require much work.

Hey, I think all of you guys (and girls) have been in parkour mode at least once. You can see that some players go to parkour mode only to KILL other players and increase their global D/L (the D/L at their profile page). They are preety anoying, eh? Or when playing with a turret that do self damage and you do self destruct not by pressing "delete" button, but receiving your own projectile damage back. Then, why isn't there a option that will enable all tankers in that battle (parkour mode ONLY)? I know that, if that is in game, every hull will have same HP (wll be indestructible), and Wasp will be better than any other hull, but do we really need to destroy other tanks in Parkour? I think no. Put OPTION, not change, because if some players want to do savt the gold (stg) or kill me for gold, or something like that, indestructibility is something they dont want in such cases. Please accept my idea, because I think many players want this. Thank you!

Instant respawn in parkour. Meaning that once you are destroyed, you will respawn as a solid tank instantly.

That would be terrible, ghosts are very useful in parkour. Though instant self destruction and faster respawn as a ghost could be nice.

add unusual gold box drop zones in parkour mod maps (space parkour) for example on roofs and other places hard to get to in normal mod

When you want to change equipment in parkour but you have to wait 2 more minutes... hhh today doing parkour survival I had to leave the battle several times to change because we were trying different tactics. The time you need to wait to equip something else should be nonexistant in parkour mode
