Ideas for Parkour!

A setting which allows striker to use its lock on mode on its teammates without damaging them, of course. (Parkour format only)

That's a great solution for the damage problem (especially with new repair kit) that doesn't cause any problems that the other suggestions about this had. The best way to implement it would be adding a "toggle auto-aim" key, that way you don't even need a setting for it, and it allows every player to choose if he wants to use it or not, so you can have thunders shooting under a tank for splash without auto-aiming on the jumper and some rails auto-aiming on the jumper in the same trick without having to be in different teams. This would also be useful in normal battles for players who want to test their aiming skills or have a more challenging gameplay, without having to force anyone else into not using auto-aim.

It is really annoying for tankers to kill each other in parkour maps. I have a suggestion about parkour, that no killing is allowed in parkour, i.e. in a parkour map, red team and blue team are both not allowed to kill each other. While for DM, no-killing mode should also be implemented. By doing so, parkour can be done easily without being interrupted.

@Maf's idea is quite interesting one indeed.

 

 

Seems interesting, although a simple damage on/off option when creating a parkour battle seems like a much simpler option that will do the trick. Also, I don't think killing in parkour battles should ever be officially considered as a punishable violation because the limited number of battle mods have much better causes to dedicate their time to, such as mults and hackers.

In parkour battles, you must wait the few minutes in between equipment changes like in every other battle. What I'm suggesting is remove this timer so you can change turrets and hulls at any time. 

 

This is true for supplies. In parkour battles, cool downs for supplies are removed. Immediately after the my speed boost times out, I can activate a new one. It should be the same way with turrets, hulls, and modules.

 

Unless there's a reason against this (which there very well could be), it seems like an easy fix and one that won't screw up the game.

Is it just me or are other tankers still in school. Tanki is a game that I believe is a great game for kids and possibly older generations. My friends and I like tanki and we want to be able to participate in events such as MOP. But MOP is in the middle of school year and It may conflict with my academics. I think that school is important but I also want to be able to participate in these events. My friend friend even made a clan specifically for parkour. We really want to participate but we may not be able too. If tanki made it so it was during holiday break or something like that then that would be awesome. Or even better, in the summer. If im not able to compete then it will be unfortunate indeed. If tanki can change its time then that would be awesome.

Hello All

 

Since Parkour Is Getting Ruined by maniacs who kill everyone, I have an idea that may reduce the level of ruiners, thus adding an option to get some crystals off parkour, Here's how it works, i'm thinking that tanki should add something new called PP (parkour points), for every trick that you do in parkour you get PP, for instance, If someone does a full barrel role, he gets about 1 PP, if someone does a full backflip he may get 2 PP, and so on.., that would make people focus on doing tricks more than just killing everyone, they also get some extra crystals (as i mentioned earlier) by having a lot of PP, for example, if someone obtains 100 PP in one match, they'le get  1 crystal instantly, if they get another 100 PP, they'l get another crystal and so on (it may be better that way as people will start choosing parkour instead of normal battles), PP could also help determine who is the best parkourer in tanki, the person with the most PP in tanki gets a special icon next to their name, second place also gets an icon, and 3rd 4th 5th 6th 7th 8th 9th and 10th also get icons (maybe tanki could add extra rewards for 1.st place like an extra mission, or a daily crystal bonus maybe), PP will also increase the number of druggers, which is bad for other players, but good for the game! as people will start buying more supplies from the shop, you can see your PP Next to your crystal, Preview =

 (note that you need to land your tank successfully to get PP)-(other note: you must not be in contact with any other players or other players shots to get PP as this will give an advantage to mults)

 

Tanki may also add an option for premium users to get double PP, it may make it a little unfair, but it will aslo increase the number off premium buyers.

My D/K is significantly lower than it could be because of parkour. Parkour battles should not count towards your D/K because some people go there just to kill a bunch and get their D/Ks up higher, and people who actually try to do parkour know that it can take many deaths to get onto a house. This too affects the D/K

There shouldn't be equipment change times in parkour.

 

Many times I will try something with lets say thunder and wasp and then i realize I need magnum to get me up on a certain house, but I need to wait 5 minutes or whatever to be able to switch again, and I don't want to leave because there are gold droppers in this battle and open spots don't stay for long...

 

And besides, what is even the point?

its annoying to click that warning when you go into a parkour, especially in tanki online events or when someone is doing a gold rain and it is filling up fast

when you are getting ready to click the battle button for a event or stg.. just spam the enter button after u click the first battle button and then the parkour alert pops up pressing enter bypasses it and you get in fast :D

The idea is simple: allow unlimited overdrives in Parkour format. This would not be as OP as it seems. I know the idea of unlimited supplies in Parkour has been declined. I am talking about after each hull gets it's own Overdrive. This would mean that each team would need a Dictator to do that, and Dictator is not good for Parkour. This would allow for more diversity in Parkour challenges; a Dictator would be another member of the team and woud take up space without actually helping with the liftoff.
