Maps where there are more tanks destroyed per minute, e.g. a 40 player battle on Dusseldorf. More tanks destroyed = fund grows at higher rate = more chances of gold dropping.

Well, they drop depending on the battle fund. So if you're asking which maps will most likely have the biggest funds, then some maps are Polygon, Stadium, Massacre, Highland, Silence, Industrial Zone, 2042, Desert, Noise, Esplanade, maps with city names, etc. Basically, the maps where Gold Boxes will most likely fall are fairly big maps that tend to be active and full.

All the maps have equal chances of dropping a gold. It works like this: For every increase in the battlefund by one crystal, there's a 1/7000 chance of gold falling regardless of the map. Good luck in catching those Golds!  :P
