I dare you to use the alternative controls, so WASD and <>?

I joined a DM, very bored, and I decided to test these controls. I was with rail hornet.

It was a fun experience!I missed every single shot

I only use WASD, They ARE gamer controls... xD

It's easier with arrow keys. You constantly need to more your tank, so your right hand is on the arrows, while with your left hand you do a number of actions, the main one being rotating the turret and shooting, but also supplies, camera angle, tab... When you stop rotating your turret to do those extra actions it does not delay you as much as when you would stop moving your tank... if you know what I mean.

No keys shown for turret rotation? No keys shown for changing camera angles? They are the two most important actions after moving your tank and shooting and you choose to ignore them.

n00b!!!  :P

I was joking with the "n00b" part. This is a great visual guide.

It is.

The original however was written by Hogree, so the praise should be going to him :) :

Wrote one smaller guide regarding this subject too:

Just a quick try on WASD is indeed a funny experience. :D

Though if you really want to master WASD, especially when you are already adapted to the Arrow keys,

takes at least a few days.

I've always used the alternative controls. And no, I'm not left handed so anyone can do it. ;p

True, like I as a left hander have always used the pc mouse in my right hand...

(besides that anyone can do it, you have the added benefit of being awesome cool though ;) )

I used WASD for the first a few days ago......and failed miserably :P My hands got confused between their role in how to control the tank. If you're interested in learning what muscle memory is, use the opposite settings for a day ;)
