It's funny how strong this propoganda works, all noobs now think that drugging means you're skilled while they called drugging noob before this update, just because you could use 3 at a time? It doesn't make a difference... Let's see how long the happiness will last, till these kids ate all their candy the devs gave them (all these free supplies were just to make people happy about this update) and they will be complaining about supply use again. This way players with supplies will be even stronger against non-druggers than before this update.

i guess i'll have to leave tanki until the free drugs are gone,as i can't play without using DPs right now

Well, it was nice why it lasted. I'll be drifting away. I came here and stayed to play for fun. I purchased supplies every month for almost 4 years, because access to supplies sped up the game and made it more fun. Now, not a chance. I can't imagine what the owners of tanki imagined as a new and successful business model... the more supplies people used the more they bought the more revenue was coming in. Now theres no need to buy. 

 

As far as making the whinners happy, I played in a battle yesterday where 3 of the 10 players were complaining about drug use... so that will never end. 

 

The "purists" that felt this site was all about developing awesome and special battle skills - hey! its a game. Nothing you do here means anything to anyone but yourself... but please feel free to bring up your tanki skills in your next job interview or when your girlfriend tries to dump you.... since it will make all the difference.

oh just hush little guy...when i was your rank i controlled the battles without drugs and while facing druggers you are the exact type of people who whine about this and made it happen in the first place. Seriously, it is a team effort not a solo one....not the druggers fault that you lose it is your own...1 can't beat 10 unless extremely skilled

This is true. A single drugger can't take down a decent team. Yes, they can seriously dent them, but it takes a fair amount of druggers on team A and Noobs on team B to have a complete takeover.

 

Still, I don't know why previous hit-the-ground druggers are in works over this. Just show some skill and study the cooldown mechanics. If you use a DP. you can use a 1st Aid right afterwards. So if you're being attacked, this might be a good choice of action.

 

Also, fallen supplies last just as long as used supplies, so just find a drop zone and save on supplies. So if anything, I would say that this update was BENEFICIAL towards druggers. The re-design will take some getting use to, though....

But back then Freeze was the ultimate drugger-killer. :D

Overall, I think back then drugs weren't a problem at all, And you're right, it just took skill to stop them.

However, I think it changed, as more changes were added. Kits, re-balance/physics, Freeze-nerf, etc.

It made drugs stronger, and stronger.

 

Now this drug update puts a big dent in the strength (not number) in these druggers. Kind of like the big Freeze-nerf and Mammoth-nerf. Lol!

 

And, any updates on people leaving yet? How many left so far?

Not sure, I bet some left but by far not all of them. I will be waiting for 1/2weeks before I play again, the given supplies will be spend by then and whining will start all over again.

After taking thousands of $$$$ from me, Tankionline aka alternativaplatform has betrayed me.

 

Its the trust that matters rather than the $$$$ they looted from me. I won't do business with any Russian company (MAFIA) again..

So you thought it was a Smart idea to spend that much money on a game? (I highly doubt your story btw.)

 

You better Cooldown and start to realize you weren 't doing business...you were playing a free to p(l)ay game, that 's all.

I play shaft and don't like the fact that the cooldowns suit the faster more agile tanks which can pick up the dropped supplies and basically drug up to the gills, a very unfair system. I will still play the odd game when I have nothing better to do but I wont be investing in it as I used to, a real shame.

I like this system they better not go back to old one because it is just done and over with; for the people who want to leave let them they can do what ever they want to do...

It just leaves more space for me in joining battles but whey won't leave they spent to many hours on the couch table or chair to make it to a high rank

What is it with tanki at the moment?  Is their aim to bring out updates which annoy people?  Are they trying to make all generallismos leave tanki?  We've seen from what gismos have said, after smart cooldowns they will leave. Smart cooldowns aside, look at the other updates.  Removing the rating.  WHY?  What need was there to do that.  I know that I personally enjoyed, as a gismo, trying to achieve my last target of a certain rating.  Now, the supplies look different, and it's incredibly annoying, but there was no point in the update.  Please tanki, have some brains.  Do not close this, this is not a discussion of smart cooldowns.

In the cooldowns topic, they said that they will be bringing the ratings back- they just have to modify it a bit.
