honestly i see no reason to leave, now its more fun, no more ruined battles and no more "big" take overs haha

i actually liked the new update, at first i did not like it because it was something new but now really i can win battles easily. 

srs only skilled and smart people can win now which is a great thing. 

the current smart cool downs actually even better than what we tried on test server, now i really can call them "smart" cool downs lol

I LOVE this update, I get to play with supplies without others blaming me now (not that I drugged in the past, I hardly ever drugged, only when another noob was drugging) and today I came up with a great way to get all supplies active, you just find a Double armor or Double Damage supply box, then activate the other supply, and then you wait to activate N20. You depressed nooby druggers can't seem to find a way to activate all supplies at once.

See the green line: please don 't talk nonsense...there are plenty of Tankers who happen to love this update,

as I am well aware there are also plenty of Tankers who don 't.

I suspect many of the latter group will at least get used to the Smart Cooldown in time, some might even start to like it...

And to buyers. Well you just bought drugs, guns hulls etc for your own fun. You had your time killing those who cannot afford to drug. But most of you forget that you didn't bought TO.

 

And I guess it requires a lot more money then you all together spend it on yearly terms for buying fun. To run TO which includes campaigns, advertisement, staff, sltv etc. They are not dependent on you guys.

Regardless of liking the update or not, the endless threats of leaving, often repeated multiple times by the same player, are little more than emotional blackmail.  What perpetrators of these idle threats do not realize is that the people that they are trying to emotional black mail, are not the parents of the spoiled child but hardened business people and Russian too, whom no doubt have even harder, tougher masters.  It is falling on deaf ears and because the threats are idle and often heard, no credence is ever given to them in the least.  I do not believe that the developers go deliberately out of their way to annoy the mass of people and on the whole perhaps they do their best.  However I do not believe that they would miss any opportunity to increase revenue.  The complaint about over drug reliance and abuse was persistent and increasing.  They took their time to evaluate the situation and cynically saw an opportunity, to exploit the situation further and increase revenue.  At the same time, they tried to give the impression to those who abhor drug use and to those that did not use them, that this was a new beginning.  That the new system far from being an abuse and is in fact the mark of the skilled and the discerning player.  To try to head off the anticipated revolt, they flooded the battle field with more drugs and gave us all large quantities of drugs for our garage.  It is a master stroke.  Few if any will leave, those that bought drugs will mainly continue to do so and an added benefit is that most other non or slight users will have become addicted and will provide new increased  incomes.  To top it all as a joke they effectively increased the cost by reducing the effective time of operation of each drug.  In fact drug use and uptake now is hugely increased.  It is too early to say what will happen when the free supply's run out but my guess is, that they have hit the nail on the head and their goal will be established, more drug use and hugely increased revenue $$$£££.  If people really where leaving in quantities then the developers would be under no illusion and would do something about what ever was the cause because it would stop the money rolling in.

 

The only other things that folk could do is to Boycott Drugs/supplies completely.  That would require a wide compliance and I do not see that happening, it would be effective however because it is a major source of income.  The only other way that I think might work is to present a calm, reasoned proposal that wold be more lucrative and would be more appealing to them and bring in more players for more cash.  A very tall order if you ask me.  These are smart cookys these Russian Tanki people, they are no fools, they are in control, not the spoiled child, they are the Parent.  They can give but they can take away too.  If you are naughty they know how to deal with you!

Personally I believe if Tanki it is an EEC registered company, that Tanki would loose very heavily, with potentially massive costs and legal bills because they would loose.  However if they are only Russian, then who knows.  I hope that legal action is taken and that Tank from then on has to comply.  We shall see.  Personally I doubt that many on here will do anything.  In the US Class Action can be taken.  I do not think that this is available in the EU and certainly doubt that in Russia.  However their are many US customers on Tanki and the US would only be too happy to take something away that was Russian.

 

On the other hand as Tank is a Russian company, I would urge them to tread lightly because at the moment due to the situation in the Ukraine and the bandwagon effect of EU blindly following US foreign policy, then Tanki EU funds might get frozen regardless and we prevented from playing, either by the Western Powers or in retaliation by Russia.????????

I’m conflicted a little, I support the idea of not allowing druggers to just plough through non-druggers but I also agree that if people purchased drugs before this change then they were mis-sold. People can point to EULA all they like as a legal justification but it is morally repugnant.

Why have drugs? Why buy drugs? They were sold with the full knowledge that they would give the player an advantage, an advantage that Tanki staff knew was going to be curtailed. It was deception. You can dress it up in EULA jewellery all you like but it was still deception.

The game dynamic is now different and people may have invested in very different hulls and turrets if they had known that such a change was coming.

I wonder how tanki is going to combat the complainers who now see upgrades and micro upgrades as being unfair and unbeatable if a crew of highly upgraded people jump into their battle and dominate them.

It is like the rebalance a while ago, based on the hulls and turrets performance people made purchases to get their desired tank only for tanki to come along and castrate them. What you paid for is not what you ended up with.

 

It’s like buying a television and getting notified tomorrow that it will now be a toaster.

I’m not a big fan of drugs, I think they took away from team work, I feel personally that the team play has greatly increased and welcome it. I want to upgrade my hulls and turrets but wont be spending any money to do so, who knows what changes the move to unity will bring and my money will be down the sink. I just want to be able to watch my tv and not end up making toast.

I guess I just don’t trust Tanki to honour what I pay for anymore.

No I'm pretty sure that it's all in the EULA, that's the thing everyone just clicks when starting and never read because no one has spent money at that point. Then over time you forget about it when you whip out the credit card, it's only when things get crap you realise you just got owned.

I think we basically agreed that they can do what they like when they like.If you bought drugs and didn't get them then you would be covered by EU law but as it stands you paid for the drugs and you got them.

Basically that account you are using is not yours.

Basically those drugs in your inventory are not yours either,nor are the gems on that account actually yours. The minute you transfer your cash into online currency it becomes Tanki's.

 

 

Any use of this Game and its Online Facilities and/or clicking “Accept” at the registration form means that you are acquainted and agree with the underwritten Agreement, and unconditionally accept all this terms.

If you do not agree with the entire Agreement you have no right to use the Game and its services and you are obliged to leave the site immediately.

 

Pretty sure this is the bit that makes it legally binding.

 

The issue is more about trust, the companies Reputation. I guess Tanki has a high enough turnover of players that it doesn't matter if people leave with a bad taste in their mouth because there will be others to fill their shoes soon enough.

the most important thing the new update did was prevent druggers from abusing drugs and thus causing frustration to other players.
I support the updates and of course I won't be leaving.
