Nope, Tanki isn 't a charity and they keep the game going by the people who buy.

 

You are one of them buyers I suppose, so am I.

 

Tanki isn 't a democracy either. How could it be? You and others want 234, 

again others and I want Smart Cooldown.

 

The way it works is simple. We buy and with the money earned Tanki pays the bills and

puts what 's left in the game.

We the buyers don 't run the show however, in the end it is Tanki alone who decides which direction we go.

And in my view non-buyers also got exactly the same rights as we do.

Why: because it is a free to pay game.

 

Tanki decides and thank whoever you believe in for that, because anarchy really doesn 't work...

 

We can raise our voice and that might change minor things but in the end it is simple: we don 't control Tanki.

 

It 's something like a Government. it is chosen once in let 's be general four years and after that they

run the show. You may not like what they do, raise your voice and maybe change minor things but in the end the

Government decides which direction the country goes.

The big difference is that a Government can be voted away after four years,

Tanki as long as enough people support it by buying will stay.

 

Also I disagree with your statement that Tanki slaps people like you in the face: or didn 't you get your supplies doubled?

 

Simple maths: 2x45 seconds is 90 seconds SC-supplies instead of the old 60 seconds 234-supplies.

Tanki gave you an additional 30 seconds.

Maybe to compensate for your "great loss" of being able to use 234 at once?

At least you could consider it like that. I did.

Besides they gave you a very generous amount of free crystals during seven days.

Some people are very short-minded it seems.

 

They were not even obliged to do this. They did it to try to make their customers happy.

Well, it 's easy to see they can 't make everyone happy.

 

If you don 't like what they are doing you can always leave, nobody is stopping you.

 

Lots of other games where maybe you decide what will happen with the gameplay:

When I invested some money in Tanki I knew and know they can change the game in such

a way that I won 't like it no more.

If so, I would leave. Be sad about it, but that 's it.

 

Again we players don 't run the show, if you can 't live with that you shouldn 't have invested or

invest money in the game.

The same thing happens if you introduce Adobe Flash to a person who has never used and/or heard of it, and has used Unity all their life.

 

2. In addition to that, Unity is actually a very good platform for Tanki Online to run on. Unlike Adobe Flash Player, Unity is more adapted to 3D Games. And what is Tanki Online? Correct, a 3D game. Most likely, you'll actually lag less, and/or get even BETTER graphics and updates.

 

Furthermore, as we progress more and more technologically, more games are being built on Unity, and game companies are actually moving towards Unity due to this case (that Unity supports 3D better).

Unity is the way to be able to move forward. Wish the persons who make these "Unity will be bad statements" would take some

more time to research it themselves; but they probably won 't...

 

Adobe 's Flash, what Tanki is build on now is simply a dead end. Adobe wants to focus on it 's other software produkt and currently is only

maintaining Flash with updates. There 's no more real development going on.

 

Unity is the opposite of no real development. Just Google on Unity and you will find out yourself why Tanki made a good choice with this

new platform.

If you don 't...well than you can carry on making "Unity will be bad statements": your choice! :D

I would like to just take the time to wish everyone who is leaving due to smart cooldowns the best in real life and thanks for all the great memories i have playing with you (most likely)

there has at least been like 10 sales since that update 1 month ago ok...keep lieing to urself ok...special events always brings out more but when there aren't....0 players go on :D like i show before

I have an idea.

So while you are creating a map, don't you guys think there should be one more chioce added there?

The choice will be smart cooldowns drugging way (check the box) or full druging way (uncheck the box).

When you uncheck the smart cooldowns, full drugging way will simply be applied to the map you are creating.

This has already been proposed many, many times.

 

If it was so easy Tanki Online probably would have implemented it: it could have been the best solution IMO.

 

It 's as far as I understand technically difficult to maintain two different drugging systems.

Two systems means a lot of different parameters and a lot of extra programming, manpower and

ofcourse money.

 

You also probably need to use seperate servers.

To take something away or adding something in the same drugging calculation, like it is possible in a Pro Battle,

is a very different thing than having two systems besides each other at the same time:

Smart Cooldown and 234, that use a "different drugging calculating base" will not co-exist easily.

 

Than again, Tanki could also be on a steady course towards the Tanki Online they have already planned.

And I suppose they don 't want too complicate the game in all kinds of different possibilities and seperate sections...

 

With the future Unity they will already have to maintain two Tanki Online 's for a certain period.

Which will be quite costly.

I suppose that they will promote the new Unity version a lot so most of us Tankers will soon make the transition

to it: but it 's a smart and necessary move to give everybody the time to adapt.

 

Tanki is still a fairly new game which is constantly changing. If you don 't like that than you can keep on whining

if that makes you feel allright, but you better realize TO will just do his own thing in the end. 

 

I like this transition period, it 's bring a lot of new and exciting changes!

And overal I like the way the game evolves.

With a more positive attitude and a bit more willingness to adapt: we would ALL be happier! :P
