Exactly. And thus, there is no need at all to make a "shortcut" for points. Don't be lazy and expect points just for killing 50% of a tank.

It's called EARNING points for a reason. :rolleyes: All in all, the scoring should not be touched. It's cool this way, as like Arch said, the flag is top priority.

You say you do not want easy kills or shortcuts, but in reality you do with this idea you suggest. Stop lying to yourself and go play TDMs then.

 

And have a better grip and understand what you're talking about yourself. Maybe you'll become smarter if you actually post with your real account. If you think your ideas are so "perfect" and "great." and that everyone would agree to it, why fear posting it with your real account?

I'm not bothering you. I'm discussing these ideas you suggest. You try to defend it (horrible job), and I support my reasons. It's not my fault you post these kinds of topics and don't have the ability to reason, discuss, and absolutely can NOT take criticism.

 

And I honestly don't care whether you report me or not. They (Mods) use their heads unlike some people I know (which is also the reason why they were selected for such a position), and your "friendly" ties with these Mods honestly make you look even more ridiculous. You're implying that you're relying on favoritism and biased views to win your part, which is insulting to those moderators to say that they could be unfair like that.

 

Go ahead, warn me. Next time, maybe you should post your ideas in the pinned threads if you're not going to have a proper discussion and defend your idea with valid reasons.

Not to mention when explaining your "issue" to these moderators, I highly doubt you talk the truth. I'm betting that you're just saying how I keep stalking and bothering you, making me look bad. LOL. Thanks.  Been trying that or circling around so I can hit the far end of their tank without taking damage but both of those are a bit situational.

If you use thunder they will get really close to you, to try get you selfdestructed with your splash damage, if the other person is using thunder and they're about to die, they get close to you so that they selfdestruct, yesterday I did some tests, first fighting thunder, and then I used thunder, and on both occasions they got close to me, one way to solve this is removing the self damage, so you could shoot even if they were really close.

I wouldn't agree to removing self-damage. It's already a bad thing due to self-destruction penalties, so there is no incentive unless some really, really, really, really, wants to die. Lol.

 

The self-damage kind of gives limits to a Thunder-user. They can't run around berserk shooting everyone with Thunder, even at close range.

That could unbalance it in a way, and in my opinion it wouldn't be as fun. This self-destruction is like a challenge, and challenges are always fun.

 

Also adding to the aspect of unbalancedness, Thunder has the ability to hit multiple targets at once with its unique splash damage. Close-ranged weapons do the same, damage multiple enemies. The choice to let Thunder's splash damage affect the user as well separates Thunder from those weapons, as it would require you to stay some distance away.

 

Thunder's splash damage can already be used in a flexible way, able to get the last hits on a wounded enemy, flushing enemy tanks out from hiding spots or kill snipers. It's like a Ricochet in my opinion. And with the last stat update boosting up its range, you shouldn't need to be up close where you can self-destruct so easily.

By removing self-damage thunder will turn into noob gun that doesn't need to be aimed and positioned properly. Just point to enemy general direction and hold the button, splash will deal with the rest. This is not the way it ment to be played.

 

Self-damage won't be removed.
