rail gun is king

Isida  require skill and planing.  How else with such a short range weapon could it be so successful how else can it sneak up on so many opponents.  By the whiles, craft, stealth and nohow of the operators of such a noble beast as Isida.  What else sacrifices its self for it team mates, lays down it life for such a noble cause. :D 

Clans choose it because it is so easy to use auto aim sees to that.  It is powerful.   It has few constraint imposed on it  We are looking forward towards the new implementation!

seriously elizabeth how dumb can you be? CLANS DO NOT chose it. IT IS ALREADY CHOSEN by the tanki CS mods/admins. It is chosen because railgun measures the skills of the it's users/team to the ultimate extent. Wow you're like the biggest noob I met in tanki. Cause of the fact that you can't understand the the simple truth that railgun takes more skills to operate than any other turret in the game.

Isida, and indeed nearly all turrets in the game as @tiger_of_malaysia wrote, also have aspects of automatic aiming. Have you ever realized that?

This is true, but most of them are balanced by extremely limited range.  Auto aim provides a cone where you are able to hit regardless of where inside that cone the shot is aimed.  At the range of twins this covers only a small area.  Because dramatically increased range with railgun this cone expands to cover a large area, allowing for much easier shots.  It also allows you to distinguish skilled railgun players who will still aim for the part of your hull to give maximum knocking effect.

I agree.  Railgun out performs most guns on the battle field.  It can out snipe shaft because it need s no skill, just point in the approximate direction and auto aim takes care of he rest.  It can even takeout targets at extreme range while on the run so flattering are its capabilities.  It is accomplished at shot range also.  I agree that twins are under powered.  They take too long to take down the enemy and have many kills stolen from them because of this.   Railgun needs a drastic radical re balance!  Auto aim should be a thing of the past for all turrets.

Then take out the auto aim off of the railgun so you need skill to shoot it.

Autoaim should be removed from all guns.  Railgun is just the largest benefactor of it.

how do you think the other hulls apart from railgun would do without the auto aim? It will be nearly impossible to shoot a tank hidden behind some walls with the use of rico's bump feature. The twins will be further nerfed without auto aim since its projectiles will be even harder to be used. Same goes with smoky and thunder. I suggest you to play xp matches and see how skills are used hand to hand with railgun...and btw posting comments filled with dumb ideas in an eloquent manner won't help... People still do have a brain to think about these stuff.

Yet another topic having the same old "this weapon is OP, nerf it down to the bottom!" comments.

 

Railgun has the worst auto aim in the entire tanki history. You can't even hit 2 feet above you without moving. Try shooting a guy at the top of the stadium map when you are at the lowest level. We will see how you will hit.

 

Elizabeth, repeating statements doesn't make them true.

I might as well re-iterate what I say in every railgun thread.  Railgun still doesn't seem that overpowered.  Maybe a bit too high burst damage, especially considering the frequency of 2x damage supply now, but nothing gamebreaking.  My main complaint with the gun is that it is too user friendly and too popular.  It pops up in every map type and often more than half of a given team uses it.  I never had a huge problem with rails before I got prodigi (1v1 ricochet is way more of a thread) but I still wear it almost all the time for the simple fact that I run in to over twice as many railguns as any other turret.  Starladder uses railguns and all league game types allow railguns, ostensibly to encourage e-sports since light hulls with high burst damage is more interesting to watch thank a team of isidas and shafts going at it.  A railgun combo of some sort is what most people seem to learn to play on.  Not to mention the favorable treatment in sales and kits.  I'd love to see some incentives to increase turret diversity.  Make railgun as hard to aim as other turrets, larger charge time, anything.

railgun isnt so op,when i see some rails drugging i go take tundra or digital and drug too,they die so easy

Which map? Do you tried it in dusseldorf? Or parma? Forest? Siege? Some maps look, for railgunners.

İ camped highest corner in this map and railgunner hit me from close then middle of stadium!

Railgun's auto aim angle is so bad, but if railgunner wants hit, can get this.

İf you don't know certain informations, please use wiki. This is most big advantage for shaft because with manuel aiming, shaft can try shoot to any point and shaft's vertical firing angle is very good, ricochet is for this, the best and much railgun needs moving.

 ,this game is not for fun its to make tanki on line money ,

At the exspence of the game

as i have  m3 thunder , m3 twins all uselless ,against railgun ,

why make rail gun the best gun in the game

,there is no "eqal" gun to mach it 

,we are getting rip off ,with these 50%offmirco upgades and speedup

,as you canot beat rail gun with one shot

,as it beats me with thunder at close range

I'll tell you what I think, I think you are un-skilled! considering the reload time of thunder against rail and the fact that you don't need to hit your target with the same precision as rail the conclusion is you are rubbish! Then you prove it by whinging on the forum. Laughable really.

 

I have seen rail with the most kills but behind Isida because they seem to gain more points from healing which is important, but have seen rails win the game! Whilst still getting less than what they deserve.

 

Rails have to wait for reload and use high skill. Thunder still takes skill, but not like Rail, thunder can destroy 3 even 4 targets in 1 shot, yet you still complain..... you should give up playing if you are that weak!! haha  :rolleyes:

You said problem. Railgun maybe the hardest gun but with skill, can be too good. But can you say this for other guns? No one say this much times. So railgun is looks OP because much player think: other guns doesn't look good with much. 

 

My idea, only two guns can defeat( it is different then "kill") master railgunners: Smoky and Shaft. Because these 2 weapons are very useful and can be OP with skill and experience. Example: İ am not master player yet, much time i can defeat railgunners in score list, but after matches, i feeling me skimmer  :D  :D  Sometimes i get 5 railgun hit in 7 second  :lol:

Reposting this in different threads still doesn't make it true.  There are some good players but it is much easier to master than smoky, shaft, rico, and perhaps even thunder.  All it really takes is a basic understanding of the strategy and decent aim.   It is the gun Kalashnikov of tanki, a gun for the masses that anyone can pick up and most people start with.  You don't have to memorize other weapon timing or aim for small areas on hulls to throw off aim. Superior burst damage means the time you expose yourself out of cover for a shorter period than any other turret.  Sure it has a slower rate of fire, but anyone can use cover to stay concealed until their shot is ready so burst damage becomes the deciding factor unless you can make them miss, outclass them in health, or flank.  The incredibly high impact force means no matter where you hit you will throw off the aim of even a heavy hull.  Not to mention the longer cone of auto aim mentioned in my previous comment or the capacity to one shot outweighing overall dps.  I'll grant you that it is harder to master than firebird, but the most difficult turret in tanki?  Not my any stretch of the imagination. 

 

It may be easy to hit with thunder but the combination of weak impact force and slow reload time makes it harder to make an opponent miss shots than any other weapon.
