Project Genius

I just woke up. I can't move, I can't see, I can't talk. All I can do is listen to the sound of gears spinning, devices pinging, and the sound of water drops. I wait for hours, scared out of my head, when a voice says, "You have been chosen anonymously for Project Genius."

 

Project Genius is a contest, if you want to call it that, for one week chosen at random, you have to come up with the most Genius update that Tankionline could add. It could be from new paints, hulls, and turrets, or all the way to updated servers and easier finding of battles.

 

Winners obviously get a prize. But the prize also comes rules, as I stated before in my other Contest Idea.

 

I'll start off by stating a few that I think should be enforced,

1. No plagiarism (that would be a big no no).

2. No immature content.

3. No duplicated posts.

4. One post per person.

5. All other Tankionline rules found at http://tankionline.com/en/rules/

 

Things to include: Username and your topic idea.

To figure out the judges, all the developers would be judges, since they are developers they should get to pick the update right? Correct!

 

Of course it isn't a contest without prizes right? Of course, I wouldn't forget that!

1st Place: 50 000 Crystals

2nd Place: 40 000 Crystals

3rd Place: 30 000 Crystals

Participants: Custom Contest Paint (Exclusively for this event!)

I think this this would be a good update, it's not a "new" turret, hull or paint, however an improvement on an existing one.. Shaft is very powerful, it can one shot most tanks, and take out titans with double power, and it's a turret that i think is very neglected, yes it's the newest turret to the game, but it's commonly overlooked, and people get railgun instead. This idea would bring new life to this turret and (I hope), increase it's popularity *Que hornet players crying*, It's not a big thing, but pretty neat ;) I think shaft should be equipped with a Thermal imaging scope. this could be toggled on and off with.. lets say C. In TDM/CTF/CP battles when you're in thermal mode only enemies show up, otherwise it would get awfully confusing. And of course in DM mode all tanks show up. This "thermal mode" would make it much easier to get shots in on people who are hiding behind cover, kind of the whole point of shaft. oh and another thing, possible optical zoom, again this would be good for aiming in those precise super long range shots, you could zoom in and out using the roller on your mouse, or for laptop users.. V.  I could let me mind run wild with shaft ideas, but i wouldn't want to make it OP. I hope you like this idea, if you do just up vote this post, thank you :)

I have an idea.  The Firebird and Freeze should have a bit higher damage rating in the winter and summer setting when creating a battle. For instance, say you choose the map Rio, if you set the climate (weather) to winter, the Freeze will have, maybe 5.5-6.5 more damage. If you have the firebird it's damge is decreased by 3.5, now if the climate (weather) was set to Summer, then the Firebird will have an increased damage by 5.5-6.5.

Who has ever been in the position that you are a mammoth/ shaft when a gold box dropped? Don't u have it when the druggers always get the gold boxes? Well, a new update should be that the benefits of drop boxes can be recieved by shooting the box. The first one to shoot it gets it, of course keeping the original option of just touching it with your tank. #projectgenious
