Sound is Broken

This problem started yesterday, but I thought I'd give it some time to go away before making a topic. But here it is, still happening.

 

My sound on Tanki will not work. I have the sound in Tanki itself turned up, I have my laptop's sound turned up, but I'm not getting anything. And I know it's Tanki, because sounds/music from other applications are working just fine.

 

Can you help me? :)

By "sound is broken", do you mean that it glitches, or there is no sound at all? If there is no sound at all, make sure you have the volume not all the way down.

Did you take my advice of hitting it , joking , try to unplug it and then plug it in again.

No sound at all, game volume is full up, laptop volume is full up.

Go to setting and at the top right corner it says "background sound" check if it shows tick on that box, if not, you must tick that "background sound" box.

Yeah I did that. Everything is turned on. But still, no sound.

Use "Troubleshooting Hardware and Sound" in your Troubleshooting page that followed by action center of your windows 7/8.

 

This will let windows to find errors and repair them automatically.

 

Please do step above and post the result.

Go click on the sound icon in your Task bar

Then click on "Mixer" and make sure that your browser's sound is up:

Yup, did that. Still isn't working.

 

@ : I'm sorry, could you explain how to get there again? Is it in browser or computer itself? Btw, sounds from other websites are working.

I think i have found the solution!

 

 

Make sure that the "Background Sound" be maked. (Go to game sitting and mark "Background Sound".

 

If option is already checked make sure that sound volume be at good level.

It might just be an adobe flash player problem. Update your flashplayer?

Flash is built into IE, I have Windows 8. I think it updates automatically...?

Maybe get another Trombone? ;)

 

p.s. try the free software: Iobit Driver Booster, this updates almost ALL your drivers, might help.
