You missed the 3rd option!  No Drugs.

The battles are more fun now!

Everyone used to activate all three at once and the people who didn't, were just destroyed right away.

And when everyone is full drugs, you don't get an advance.

 

Now the gameplay is much more balanced and challenging because you have to stratigically think which drug to use.

If you are having an issue with that, use double armor, the damage infliction will be equal to both of you. Double armor kills double damage

The trick is to use double armour and pickup double power
