For me, it is all about garage changes. You can't protect against everything, so you must try to make opponents change to the least effective turrets in the battle you are in. in long range battles join with long range paints to get rid of rails, and smokys, in close combat games get rid of fires isidas and hammers. 

The recent changes have made it even more difficult to get balanced gameplay, as you have to think in groups of 3 or 4 players to accomplish a dominant team, where as before you could do so with 2 players working together on most battles. 

 

What turret combinations work best?

 

I see a lot of smoky,thunder teams, along with isida. this combination works well as defenders cannot protect well against all 3, they have to choose smoky or thunder, or isida which makes it an effective group.

can you think of other good complimenting groups?

I saw tons of combo changing game, people need to have at least 3-4 different combo to counter those full garage players.

 

So buyer generalismos has bigger advantage.

 

 

For me, rail hornet user, I use needle paint in all maps, from island to lost temple.

 

Still I have hard time to find a good thunder smoky paint.

 

For viking and hunter user, Jade gives 50% smoky, 23% thunder, 23% hummer, 50% shaft

Jade has gotten real boost with protections, it was one of the least owned paints before the economic remodel, hard to warrant the purchase with so many other new paints. Thunder has always been a golden child of the game, it is one of the turrets with the fewest protection paint option. twins has similar qualities, its no wonder it has been the two favorites of Godmode_On.

To get simple awnser , players who planing to stay years in The game at end they will buy all paints so i recomend u to enjoy the game by using you'r favort paint , then later start buying them all of course after u buy all guns and hulls m3 .
