Tank will not pick up supplies or kill others!

Hi, when I go into a new game, I can not pick up supplies or kill other tanks but they can kill me!

I am using a HP600 workstation PC with 64 bit windows XP with 6GB RAM and a graphics card for 3D CAD work!

I am also using Google Chrome and I make sure Adobe Flash player is up to date.

 

What do I need to do to correct this problem ?

Please check this topic and follow the steps. Also, try another browser. I would suggest you to use Stand Alone Flash player.

I suggest three things. 1. Use firefox, works a ton bettervas I have used chrome before. 2. Refresh. 3. Use the minus key to make your tanki screen smaller

Bobfudgit, you are not alone - lots of players have the same problem.

Something have change in the game (mabey an update), from thursday to friday.

 

I have run test on my cpu - an its not lagging... But Im not abel to play tanki

sometime this occurs when we hav higher ping.

happened to me many times but it will restore quickly when ping return back to low range

Hey dudes, I have read all your post - thanks for your reply's!  I think it's Google Chrome with flash player that is making the problem.... Unfortunately I cant down load Mozilla Firefox as my network security administrator has blocked it for security reasons! so I cant see if this is a cure for the problem - Can anyone download Mozilla Firefox and run Tanki on it to see if this runs ok and you can pick up supplies and kill others ?

Mozilla works fine, don't worry. Have you tried downloading Stand Alone Flash player?

found the solution , Use Mozilla firefox it works just perfectly . now no lag and i can kill :)

I had the worst problems of all using Firefox on a new install of x64 Windows 7.

 

Switched to Chrome and it was better.

 

Most puzzling thing of all was the FPS/ping were the same in both browsers - with Firefox I had to hit refresh while in battle to have it work for a short time only to start ignoring boxes, flags, and damage again.

I installed Mozilla Firefox and Tanki is ok now - all working and can kill and pick up supplies!

 

Thanks everyone for your help - I guess google chome works for some players and Firefox for others!!!

 

Worth the post thou as a few players have had this problem...

No... this was not lag! I know what lag is. Other players are having the same problem that they could not kill others or pick up supplies and or the flag, My friend who I work with has the same PC set up and he got the same problem too.

 

I went back and used Intenet Explorer, this solved the problem..... BUT this was not such a good way to play as I then got lag !!!

 

So I changed to Mozilla Firefox and it solved the problem with no lag and I can pick up supplies and kill others :)

 

This may work for others or it may not - it works for me and I will use Mozilla Firefox from now on.
