Smart Cooldowns

No need for the aggression, Before the introduction of the New Physics and the following updates after that, in my opinion Tanki was perfect. Smoky was never a short range gun since it cant even do its full punch at medium distance. I started to think the developers lost their minds and were thinking on what benifitted them. Im not hating on Smart Cooldowns im just saying how is it tactical when everyone is using x2 power and using certain supplies at respawn. I can handle difficulty, and at your rank I don't even know what kind of battles u face but from WO5, battles become intense and extremely difficult. Many tanks at M2 are just garbage, take hornet for example the turn speed at M2 is kind of annoying since you can easily flip and all that. For some reason at high FPS the tanks go faster and sluggier.

I think that should go to another topic; weapon ballancing. They sort of fixed it a little, or at least tried to, when they rearranged the micro-upgrades and parameters. I agree, that at some ranks, battles start getting more challenging, because of a "power gap." Where some players a overly weak, and others overly strong. That is a real issue, Not like this guy, complaining about Smart Cool-Downs.

CHallenge is what makes the game fun. That's the reason I don't play the same games my younger brother does. If you don't enjoy the game anymore, as I said, Look for a new one!! 

FYI- Strategy REQUIRES thinking, so I am thinking. Also, I never called anyone noob. The so-called strategy of using all supplies at the same time for breaking enemy lines is the EXACT reason this cooldowns were created. So users like you, who don't mind using lots of supplies per game, don't have much of an advantage over other players. You probably already powerful than most, with M+1 Weapons and Hulls. It's not only about strategy, it also enforces fairness. Not everyone uses lots of supplies, some simply don't like it, others simply don't have enough.

I think that should go to another topic; weapon ballancing. They sort of fixed it a little, or at least tried to, when they rearranged the micro-upgrades and parameters. I agree, that at some ranks, battles start getting more challenging, because of a "power gap." Where some players a overly weak, and others overly strong. That is a real issue, Not like this guy, complaining about Smart Cool-Downs.  

 

I am arun246 u moron, but how can u call it strategy if everyone is using double power? At MG battles are tough, there are a lot of Vikings and mammoths. The most used turrets at that rank are Isida, Thunder and Railgun. Those are OP weapons since you cant really escape their ranges. You think you got it all figured out but you should consider something, you never had to face the drugging Viking M2s at your rank and they were like Captain. They had  OP paints that made your weapon useless and now you don't have to face that but you get a taste of it.

It's annoying how they shortened the time for supplies. Now when the goldbox siren goes on, sometimes your supplies run out even before the gold drops. For me, I like to drug for the gold as it gives me an advantage. Sometimes I have no choice to drug because many times during the goldbox waiting time, people start destroying players who aren't drugging at all.

It still does mess up my game. I do agree with you, but to a certain degree. You see, first of all, when you use a mine, all other drugs but Speed boost are disabled, I think that makes no sense. I think Mines shouldn't interfere with other drugs, because mines are used in almost every strategy. Health is similar, in my point of view, Because, although people use them to stay alive right before death, this drugs is also used in many strategies. Both of these should not affect the other drugs, if anything, they should affect each other. Devs do need to fix this, Smart Cool Downs DO mess up most strategies. They need to fix this. It is really messing up most people's games, one way or another.

What I do is use drugs when I See the Goldbox. Although this gives you less time to act, it prevents you from wasting the supplies, because sometimes you wait at some Drop-Zone, with active drugs, but it fall in another place. I don't know if it sounds unethical to you or pointless, but you should try it.

Or you could simply get Mammoth+Firebird and just kill every player when they're all crowded. I do that when I know I won't get the GoldBox. This way, at least you increase your Battle Funds XD

I understand, I Have that problem right now, mainly because i kept wasting my cry buying Micro-upgrades and weapons and hulls I never use. You are right, I haven't had to face a drugging Viking m2, but I have faced similar things with weak guns and hulls. In fact, To has many "Power Gaps" mostly on higher ranks like you, and lower ranks such as Sergeant. At least now, I play in my little brother's account, but it's more challenging, because at that rank, people from a rank higher already have m1 Tanks while His account has minorly Micro-upgrade tanks. I think these are the two most Important issues Tanki Online has to fix: Power gaps, and the Smart Cool-Downs. In fact, Smart Cool-Downs are making the Power gaps greater.

Smart cool downs have almost made it worse. Now everyone just about 100% of the time is drugging since they can't burn all at one time. They have armor or power up. I still see druggers coming in to flag fully drugged by one fashion or another. Maybe they shouldn't have given away  a bazillion drugs to everyone. Unfortunately I received 600 turbo's and armor and little to none damage so as a railer playing defense i'd prefer damage and mines.

 

The solution is still simple. Make pro games a choice to make not a cost.

stop in game drops of power ups ( that is luck not skill )

or

 

stop making a M0 with a power up damage a freaking M4.
