I like this idea but I think a better alternative would just be to lower the cost of changing your nickname to maybe like 40k crystals.

Greetings Fellow Tankers!

Have you ever wished that your nickname would be Cool ? Are you guys tired of your Old Nickname.... Have you ever thought of changing it but the ammount of crystals required always Gets In Your Way! To change your nickname you must first have 100K crystals in your Wallet... But offcourse Many Players can't afford that especially at Lower ranks like Me. And even if they could they would think of getting their equipment upgrading rather that change their Old Rusty Nickname.

My Idea is that we should have an option to change our Nickname Free for Only Once. For the first time and after that if we want to change it again we should we'd be charged with 100K Crystals. The method of changing it first time is : We should have a button In our Settings " Change Nickname " like the one " Change Password " but our Tanki Online account should be linked with a Valid E-Mail so when clicking the button a Confirmation E-mail with the link to Change the Nickname be sent to our E-Mail address right away BUT.....Offcourse the method of changing it for second time would be same like it is right now way more Complicated , but it is as we all know for our own Account's Saftey

Reasons: 

1@ it will be unfair for the players who wasted 100000 crystals and changed nicknames

2@ everyone will change the nickname!! its very bad and it will be complicated for other players, friends and enemies

3@ it will be hard for the tanki programmers! they will receive millions of nickname changes!

 

i know 100k is little expensive. probably you could say make it cheap like 50k. Not for free  <_< 

1. Lol you know how when people complain about buyers and they get a response like this: "Its their money they should be able to do what they want with it". Well guess what us players who cant buy because we are either just kids or dont want to spend money dont deserve to be denied a chance to do something else everyone else can. Otherwise tanki online will become another one of those cheap games where you have to pay for practically every nice feature there is.
2. Enemies? If a person is my Enemy i wouldnt want them to know my usernameand bother me throughout the forum or chat. Friends, well maybe they can tweak that a little and put your former name in parenthesis for 2 months after you change it.
3. Lol tanki blocks 100s of accounts a day, im sure they can handle it. They also recieve thousands of videos for Video of the week. Videos that they have to watch and spend time on.

Changing my name should be a personal thing. It could be fo many reasons like maybe i have a stalker, a person bothering me on the forum and using multiple accounts to bypass me blocking them. Im pretty sure most of you have seen that guy Joker_assassin****** who just spams the chat with multiple accounts and he normally gets banned for 6 months each time because he was bypassing the ban using another account and doing the same thing he was doing before. 

 

Btw if Clash of clans, Uberstrike, Spartan wars Empire of honor and many other games can do it, then so CAN TANKI ONLINE!!!!!!

I don't think people from the help desk will be very happy about this, The only reason why it costs crystals is just so not everyone will do it. That would be very annoying and then it is harder to help people wich realy do need help.

Maybe only 500 people should be able to change their nickname in a day. Im pretty sure ripping us off has made tanki somewhat rich.

I totally agree. I don't think there isn't a lot if programming required just for an in-game username change and even if there was 100000 crystals is enough for the service's value for money to plunge into the Mariana Trench.

Still though, name changing would be really nice, but free doesnt sound to tanki-ish, I feel that they would at very most lower to 10k the first time around, that way its affordable, and usually for people who have spent the time to get 10k. 

 

Or they can have a time period, where a tanker would have to be around for atleast 2 months.

Well, I dont think that the idea could be implemented...

But yes, there is yet another way..

When they might move players from Flash Tanki to Unity Tanki (if they might do so), then they can provide every tanker with a free kit called Mover's Kit in there garage which might have 1 "Change Alias" pass (which can be used only once) and some other goodies...

Those who would like to change their nickname now, can use it, and those who dont want to, they can keep it stored to use it later if they want it ever...
