Okay okay, I understand that you devs probably ask such a high price for name changes in order to keep the amount of them down. But for heaven's sake, 100,000 crystals?!? Couldn't we at least be rational at 50,000? :huh:

I agree. Why do people why initially break the rules of the game, that they are notified of, get a free name change. But the people who abide by the rules don't?

^ Well he has a point... the people who make inappropriate names get a Month's ban and are told to request a name change, that's one matter.

The other matter is someone(like myself) that's been playing for a while with pretty much a "clean slate" has to fork over 100k crystals(a bunch of options in the garage in other words) just to change my name? How's that fair? :huh: If anything, cut the price down to about 10-15k, at least that's "reasonable."

 

Side note: The game should have a Nickname filter ANYWAY.

+1. The only good argument that I've had someone mention to me is that other games allow vulgarity within nicknames thus why its free to change in that case. Adding this would defeat having to ban people for a month with a freebee change and this whole predicament. Its simple not just, regardless if the player was unaware it is against the rules.

 

Either censor nicks prior to account creation, cut the cost in half (to 50k), or give us a free charge. A, B, or C; which will it be?

I don't think people from the help desk will be very happy about this, The only reason why it costs crystals is just so not everyone will do it. That would be very annoying and then it is harder to help people wich realy do need help.

I say yes, I hate my nickname, It would be fun to make it something like I_Am_Lord_Voldermort, if that is not too long, but it would need to cost some crystals, because when you chose your nickname you are making a commitment... Maybe like you have one time to change it, and it cost 20k crystals...

I like this idea but I think a better alternative would just be to lower the cost of changing your nickname to maybe like 40k crystals.
