Tanki Towers (Incomplete)!

 Share

Recommended Posts

Since Tanki towers winners were quite obvious, I'd like to go deeper into how the tower of 24 could have been beaten:

Anyone ever thought to go and check out Dusseldorf? Me neither. Just a while ago I entered Dusseldorf map and what I found out about it was astonishing. The highest possible tower is 40 tanks. Dusseldorf map has been changed and now, step by step more than 24 tanks in a tower IS possible. Now I might just be some "Captain Obvious" talking here, and none really knows who I am, but, consider the thought: I challenge parkourers to reach to the maximum and reach 40 tanks in a tower on Dusseldorf. I wonder if anyone has actually even tried to do it.

Takes 40 people to build 2 towers , connect the two towers on top of each other some how, so getting more people on a tower is almost impossible.

Here's how u can do it. Instead of stacking from the start, lay the stack out across the ground, like this.

Then just keep adding people and adding people (easy to do with Wasp/Hornet and Rico/Railgun), and then just slowly and carefully drive back and build the tower!

*facepalm* no, none of those. No, nein, nil, ne, nei, net. Need any more?

Seriously people, it's so simple I feel like I'm gonna break my face from all the facepalming.

The way you do it (for those who want a straight forward answer): Dusseldorf map has been reconstructed. Dusseldorf has drive ups, like in sandbox where you can have one tank put on another. Say, a viking stands on a viking: tower of two tanks. Then the bottom viking tank moves WITH the other viking tank up to the point where the second tank was when it landed on the first one. Then the third tank takes the first tank's place at the bottom and then the first tank move on to the third one with the second one still on it. Then the third tank moves up with first and second tank still on it up where the first one just was and the fourth tank takes its place; see where this is going? The main thing is for the tanks not to fall off when the bottom one moves up the steep ramp.

If you still don't get it, well, I can't help you. I am not organising anything, I'm telling how a tower of 40 tanks on Dusseldorf would be possible, just so you know.

This way will fail more easily because the tanks on the tower will have to move a lot and some of them will eventually drop because of bad balance or lag. The way trombone mentioned is way better, and yes I thought of doing it this way (the better way) but couldn't get enough people, and even the people I got didn't listen and started fighting each other while building the tower like killing each other can help them ._. I think it would fail then because of the sky kill zone but now it is possible in parkour game mode.

Highly time-consuming. If you were to try out that, I doubt the players can climb on those slanted tanks and remain for long.
