Limit supplies or Free Pro Battle

It's getting real boring, every game you join people abuse with supplies, and makes the game hard to enjoy, getting killed by double energy the second you spawn, it's just sad, so  to solve this, limit the number of supplies you can use per game, or make pro battles free, a lot of people don't play pro because you have to spend crystalls, so they are forced to play normal battles and have a bad gaming experience, if pro battles were free more people would do them and everyone is happy, at present this game isn't fair, you can't compete with someone who has 20 k supplies of each, they turn supplies on the second they spawn, every single time they spawn, for them it's easy, they have thousands, for others who are less fortunate, not so much, once normal people will have finished their supplies they won't have a chance in the game, I bought the pro card 3 times and it was a waste, there's never real pro battles, only ones you find is the autobalance off, all supplies on.

 

I will like to warn people not to be rude or offensive, because I'm not being rude or offensive, anyone who breaks the rules will be reported.

The recent update smart cooldowns was introduced to stop this from happening. So far, it seems it's done it's job.

So far, it seems all it's done is stoped people to 234 constantly, causing most of the players to drug constantly with 1 or 2 drugs, unballancing thus many players' game style. I wouldn't call it a big success... half solving a problem by creating another

 

The only thing it did is give people even more supplies to use in the game.

True. And once those supplies finish, one can "go back" to being more weak OR start buying supplies... No thanks. I prefer to deside for myself when to buy supplies, but on the term I use them whenever and however I choose.

yh, before ppl could find some games, were noone was drugging, but now, as you can use just 1, its not so big waste for those who have 1000+ after the doubling, but those who dont have anything, it means total end

and btw, did you notice, you can use 1st aid alot more than other drugs, and it is really needed to use it, so it make ppl run out of 1st aids => buy them => need to buy for money ;)

I've been shouting and arguing about it even before the update took place... Thanks for understanding this.. apparently, most of the small age players haven't done the "maths" yet... strangely, neither administration...  :D

Well you should use your real account to complain. Smart cool downs limited the druggers and everyone got a lot of free drugs. So if they are drugging then you should also drug back untill and unless you already used your all supplies :p

 

So stop complaining.

Interesting views, I agree with some, you can only already imagine which ones, since the supplies are not going away, but increasing, one way to solve this is making pro battles free, so everyone is happy, the supply users will keep using them, and those who can't buy them will still be able to play in more even, fair, and balanced, pro battles.

Pro XP/BP will get ruined as it will be free so anybody can join and simply ruin it. I liked the idea which was suggested before which was prices of pro battle pass will differ on the basis of rank. So the lower the rank then lower the price and higher the rank then higher the price.

I think the cronic supply use ruins the game more than if pro battle were free, just like there's people in normal battles that join just to ruin the game, it could happen in pro battles, but at least if the pro battles were free people who can't buy crystalls still have a chance to play, but it's getting to a point where a lot of people will have to quit the game, because it's impossible, people rely and abuse supplies too much.

Well, I'm agreeing with either making PRO battles free, then making an option for full x3 drugging . . ..

Then you have sort of three tiers of battles.

1. No Supply.

2. Smart Cooldowns. (Medium)

3. Full drug (x3)

 

But TO has already spent so much time on Smart Cooldowns, so I'm 100% sure they won't do something like this. .

Besides, didn't Haze_Rah say that making PRO battles free won't do anything. . .?

Though I'm not so sure about that at all. I'd think that making them free would attract more people to them. . .I'm really curious as to why he said that. Oh well. :P

 

But thinking about your idea, would it not make take-overs more occurring?

Lets say a battle is about 30 minutes in, and everybody has used up their supply limit.

The other team is joined by a bunch more guys with pretty good Modification of equipment. (Hulls, Turrets, Paints, etc.)

Then they can drug all they want, except the other team has already used up all of their drugs. Then it becomes essentially Druggers vs. Non-druggers all over again. And this time, the druggers start piling up wins even easier, and faster, since they're drugging against now non-druggers, and the non-druggers had already grinded their drugs against a former team who was drugging as well.

Drugs vs. Drugs = Normal win rate.

Drugs vs. Non Drugs = Faster win rate

This equals a take-over.

I have to agree with you, unfortunately. I don't understand why TO Administration is so stuborn about this update, when there are alternatives that solve the problem without limiting their income... Who knows... :mellow:

That's right also, although establishing a numerical limit of drugs is highly unlikable. The most simple form of limitation is that one that could solve the problem in the first place, and that is just increasing the cooling period for each supply so that nobody can play more than half the battle time on drugs. That means that if, for instance, a battle lasts 30 minutes and one player is present from start till the end, the total maximum usage time for each supply would be 15 minutes - or even less, that is something to be estimated.

well this is a game where buyers don't get too much of a benefit. other games are much worse

I played grepolis and it's alot les money-demanting than TO. I say this not to advertize grepolis - there where reasons I left it - but to point that TO is not a non buyer oriented game....
