I suggest the shaft be taken out of the game

<p>i think the shaft should be taken out of the game because it is too powerful. it almost one shots the titan. most ppl camp with it. makes the game no longer fun for others. is WAY too powerful in general and is hard to get because by the time you are able to buy it, others will have it in the match and make it way to hard for you to get crystals</p>

Disagree. At M3 it can only 1 shot Wasp and Horrnet. The Deves have made the game balanced and I don't think removing that gun would make a difference.

Agreed. Shaft is good only in long ranged battles. A freeze in a small map can defeat a shaft easily, a railgun can attack from the other side of the shaft that it is sniping to, firebird can burn by attacking behind, twins and ricochet can destroy its target by their impact force, thunder can also destroy the target, Isida will defeat it in seconds by going back, afterall shaft's turning speed is low, Smoky's critical does the job,

 

Ofcourse, its OP in long ranged map, but in the both teams we find shafts and railguns, so its balanced.

As hard as I sometimes wish they would remove them...no, Shafts are simply an annoying (in my view) essential part of the game:

frustration at times is good for the overall gaming experience! :)

 

The Shaft itself is not the problem, but the Double Power supply is.

Multiplying Shafts already huge damage capability in the Era of Smart Cooldown means this weapon becomes too OP.

(certainly if you count in the amount of skill needed to successfully operate the Shaft: but hé that 's just a part of my healthy frustration  ;) )

 

The best solution to the now OP Shaft could be a nerf of the Double Power.

This would also balance the other long-distance weapons Thunder and Rail I love to play with myself:

who both also become OP with the Double Power.

Conclusion: you prefer an unbalanced game?

Shaft is most unpopular weapon. What do you think for this?  Maybe few times after much players can write book about of "1001 way for defeat shafts".

 

Shaft is very good weapon, okay. But need only a bit much. First:option to close gun's visual effects. After maybe kkill with one shot hunters.

Much times shaft can get only one chance for scope.

 

Max damage is 260 for shaft. Hunter's max heal is 270.Maybe only 275 damage.

I really don't use Shaft, however Shaft is great for huge maps and matches to cut the team down to size in order for your team to win in the long run.  Plus, you can get a decent Shaft protection paint early on.

1) If you didn't buy it before and have got no crystals to buy it, your own fault.

2) That's how all weapons should be like: useful. Smoky, Twins, Firebird, Thunder, Railgun, Isida and even Freeze are quite like it. Well, Freeze is a bit nerfed compared to the others. Ricochet is completely useless.

2) Shaft is meant for scoping, so fast loading of it is great.

3) Get protection of it if you hate it so much

4) Shaft is one of the least useful weapon in close range combat.

5) Scoping all the time with it would be boring. Normal shot quick reload is just fine, with an average power.

Shaft is still used in short range combat, people just abuse the scope because they want their 1 hit kill, which in my opinion you are not learning skill when you are 1-2 hitting tanks. Also: shaft's sniper scope damage at M0 has about the same damage as Railgun M1, and its unlocked at Master corporal, which is quite powerful and should be nerfed.

It's actually really hard to use Shaft in close range combat. Also, if Shaft wasn't able to one-hit tanks, everybody would be using Railgun.

This is ridiculous just because you can get 1 shotted, deal with it, if anything shaft is underpowered, it's poor field of view in scope mode means it can be taken out by railguns. It would be awesome if shaft had a thermal mode where enemy tanks glowed.

You shouldn't have a problem with them, because shaft has a few weakness and some specials like other turrets!

 

It does take a long time to reload and to turn the turret.

 

It can kill most hulls with 1 bullet and it has its own scoping technique which makes it special!

Hmm, now that you mention it, you might just be correct. May be Shaft should deal more damage as the distance increases? Say at 50m Shaft deals max damage in scope mode, but if you are scope shooting an enemy from a close range, it would be a lot less effective. And if the shoaft hits one target close range while scoping, but another much further away, the first opponent would may be get the same close range scope damage (small amount) while the other gets half from what distance it is away from the shaft shooter, as it would be the second target, but hopefully with mathematics this would deal more damage to the second tank, as that might have been the target.

So, let shaft ruin all the long ranged battles and let wasps and hornets play only short ranged battles, great idea!

 

 

Shaft is definitely overpowered and needs to be nerfed so it won't 1-shot ANYONE otherwise it's really unfair, it's not fun to get out of the base and get shot from nowhere and just die. In battles with many shafts it's just impossible to get out of the base without drugging...

 

Having shafts in both teams doesn't make it any better, shafts usually don't fight each other because this way they all get way more kills and friendly shafts always flip light tanks that move in front of them...

 

And if shafts can 1-shot only light tanks at the highest ranks, it doesn't mean everyone with lower rank still suffers because of them.

Remove Shaft..? No, remove kits and re-add drugging.

oh no thankyou, I had enough of these druggers and I'm so happy that the game became a little bit more fair now... I understand you love this power but the ones who don't have it or don't wanna use it really HATE those who do.

 

i dont see how shaft is such a big threat,i usually kill them if they're not camped behind the whole team ._.

You are probably some heavy tank that doesn't get killed by shafts in 1 shot, or a drugger. Or you just play with noobs.

I completely HATE SHRAFT! the reason I hate it because it aims good but when u try to aim too a tank and it is moving it is hard to get the target right and then the tank will probley go away! =-(, I hate it I never buyed it intell yesterday! I wish I can join your clan, please please PLEASE let me it would meen ALOT!
