I suggest the shaft be taken out of the game

SHAFT IS THE BEST GUN IN THE GAME DUDE, IF YOU TAKE THAT AWAY, YOU BETTER HAVE A BETTER ALTERNATE GUN UP YOUR SLEEVE.

No, it isn 't. Though it might be the best "specialized" gun.

What does using the "best" specialized gun involve?

Well, if you really only use the Shaft, you will almost certainly turn into a camper.

True, you can achieve high ranks with only being a camping Shaft player, but you will also never become a complete Tanker.

Which means that you will become a restricted Shaft user and even more so with every ranking up...

With other weapons you will just be what they call "a noob".

So, there 's nothing wrong with the Shaft and it sure is an essential part of TO, but IMO don 't fall into this "Shaft-trap".

Also fight with other weapons besides using the Shaft and more importantly, this will also give you the skills to use the Shaft in

a much more advanced mobile style! :)

Don 't see those mobile Shaft-players that often, but those guys (can) rock!

Just because you camp doesn't mean you will be a noob with the other weapons. I've used shaft my entire tanki career. This includes mobile shaft using. I started using other weapons on alt accounts and found that I have no problem at all. This isn't the case for everyone, but I do recommend starting alt accounts if you want to try new weapons. (This really only applies to high ranked players with one main combo.)

No, it doesn 't. I marked "only" in green in my post. You have Tankers who go from Smoky M0 straight to Shaft M0 and stick with it.

Everyones his/hers own choice ofcourse: I just made some sort of warning that if you follow that path you are in for a very hard time, when one day you decide to use another weapon than Shaft.

This is true for all the other at "one-weapon specialising Tankers" as well, but in my view not as worse and not a "trap" as solely focussing on Shaft can become.

Also you will become a much better Shaft player IMO if you also know to handle some other weapons.

If you do so: ofcourse you are not a noob in handling other weapons!

Camping and scoping is a part of Tanki Online, but it simply has few connections with the use of the other 8 weapons.

I've been in several battles where the combatants were mostly shaft users.

So even though its is a fairly rare weapon, it can be seen in large numbers.

On the topic of removing shaft. If shaft is removed, we will lose the only turret with a coffee machine. And the ability to deliver pizzas.

True, saw a huge amount of them in Serpuhov yesterday. Stayed for about two minutes...and decided pretty soon they

could have their own "party".

Great fun all those stationary scopers, only looking for that tiniest bit of movement! ;)

That description in the garage...does make sense do: you need litres of coffee to stay awake when using Shaft and because your

body slowly gets in the same stationary position as your hull, often the only solution for having dinner is to order a pizza. :P

They should definitely give an item called pizza or coffee to people who have had shaft since that description was around. Just for the lol's.

I guess I'm unique, because I actually use shaft to knock the other hiding snipers, clearing the way for my close-range friendly teammates to cross the field without being shot for a one-hit kill. It really shouldn't be taken out, heck, it's not even a question! Because again with that, the game would be unbalanced. Think about it, without shaft all the little annoying wasps and hornets would be relentlessly flooding your stronghold because too many were able to get past the actual battlefield. And talk about the skill required, I mean a noob shaft-user would sit out in the open thinking they're invincible while an experienced one would avoid major firefights changing vantage points every now and then and scoping quickly and efficiently. I personally view this argument as someone complaining about a gun they don't fully understand or appreciate.

Wow quadruple post.

I do the same thing. All I do is get to my sniping spot and light em' up. I once held down an entire team including mammoths so my teammates could take the flags. I think at one point I was killing an enemy once every 3 seconds

Whenever I get one-shotted after spawning I rage and curse at the shaft that got me. If I get one-shotted while assaulting the flag through the middle I can't help but have respect for that player for doing what he's meant to be doing with a shaft.

Yup, spawn shafters are so annoying... I once had a game with 5 of these in the enemy team, I couldn't deal with them even with drugs... I just couldn't spawn.

Guilty as charged.

I can`t help it sometimes. When my team is making an assault on the flag i do whatever it takes to make sure they get through. For all of you on the business end of my shaft, you have my sincere apologies.
