Block health pickup at full HP.

Today, I was in a CTF game with some low ranked players on our side. All was going well until a M0 n00b hornet thought picking up a health kit will somehow make him stronger, and he raced me to pick up the health kit that I desperately needed. I was down to almost 1 HP and I was carrying the flag, and thanks to him picking up that box, I lost the flag and we lost the game. Seriously, why do we have so many inconsiderate and ignorant players around(even above the rank of brigadier)? Why can't people learn to take one box only and share the other with their teammates?

 

Alright, rant over. So here's my solution to the problem: make it impossible to pick up health boxes when your tank is at full health, instead of picking the box up, you would just pass through it. Also, I know that a lot of skilled players like me would intentionally pick up health boxes so the enemy doesn't get it. But the chances of getting into a fight with full hp is quite small, really. Besides, I would find it far more irritating and annoying to have a health kit picked up by a full health teammate than an enemy.

yes I think that would be a great idea I hate that when that happens they pick it up when they don't need it.

You 're right, it's really annoying (and meaningless) to see a full healthed teammate get the health box.

Although it's also true that one might do that just for eliminating the possibility of an enemy using it, at least I do so near the enemy base.

So, what counts more, the possibility that we use it or the possibility that an enemy will use it?

You said it's better to loose it on an enemy than on a teammate.. but on the other hand, it's also true that most players go on less than 100% on health, so a health box will probably go to someone that needs it.

 

Conclusion: I agree with the spirit of the complain or your emotion of anger for the irresponsible attitude of many players that gather anything they can regardless of whether they need them, but I think that the proper reaction is social and not in the form of a restriction. In other words, point out the players that do so and publicly disapprove their attitude.

That would work, if they spoke the same language as you and aren't oblivious to your complaints...

I completely agree with this because 1) my rank is still low which constitutes to a hull with low hp and 2) n00bs seem to NOT KNOW HOW TO WORK AS A TEAM!  If your hp is low, you need it more than they do.  But, they do not seem to understand this concept -_-

"Oh its ok because I have an isida."  Isidas DO NOT help in a firefight with m1 elementals.
