Revision in the number of Active Servers

As announced, we have revised the number of active servers to achieve a better balance in server population. From now on, it should be a lot easier to find battles that fit your rank and experience.

 

As of this update, the number of EN servers has been halved down to 10, and there are 2 DE servers instead of 3.

 

We will actively monitor server population and make changes accordingly to optimize distribution.

Please NO. Sometimes I want to play xp with friends in a small server where no people are. If all are populated then lag would be everywhere :(

edit: Seriously? After taking our server 1 and renaming it to RU1, and now we're losing another 10 servers? No, this won't make servers more visited, people would only leave english community and go to russian. Take their servers! -_-

A few servers with less population is always a better choice for less lag and cool private battles & even for clan training.
servers like RU 1 or EN 1 always are way too laggy to play >_<

i wonder how people could mantain that lag depends only from the number of tankers playing on a server, because I think lag depends also from other factors (and I guess MOST from other factors).

no matter how hard you try developers, RU servers will always be the most playable

EN1 server maybe has a lot of players bu all of them are low ranked ones

Nice, would be good to have have server loads reduced on some servers as well, as sometimes some do lags under some 3000 players load I've noticed.

 

But more importantly, since 11 are being eliminated, would be nice to have one of these converted to a special dedicated "Format Battles Only" server and anyone entering that server will be shown a message that the server they are getting in are for such kind of battles and a link to the forum resources explaining these various XP type flavours and rules used by players etc ... 

Also it should be accessible only to those who chose to go in there, and not be among the "lucky" mechanism for random selection of servers when entering the game via the Fight Button on main page or when signing up a new account or after the welcome tutorial.

One thing I would point out is that servers will be overloaded during halloween and christmas events and another thing.. If all servers will be full of players, the cybersport will have to deal with lags. Even people with pretty good internet can be laggy due to full servers.

Thats great, at least when i go to server 10 there will be a bunch of players , and a few battles for my rank :P
