Whats the fastest and most efficient way to make cristals?

IMHO using Izida in long CTF battles is the easiest way to earn experience and crystalls. It is also fairly cheap. Use it with fast hulls like Wasp or Hornet.

 

In general it's a good idea to play really long battles, e.g. for 999 kills. If you start from very beginning and will play actively till the end there's a good chance to earn a lot of experience and crystalls. Most of your adversaries will not play till the end, many low-ranks will join the battle just to collect boxes with crystalls, so they gonna be easy targets.

Personally DM with fire is good for points, and points usually mean crystals. but this only works iin farm/island/ping-pong and other small maps.

As you may already know, searching the forum can be far the fastest way for earning the required knowledge to get easy crystals.

But if you are not interested in the search tools, here is a Practical and Realistic tutorial on getting crystals.

 

I grantee getting just about 200 crystals a day with normal playing hours, using the simple tips on that topic.

 

Additionally, you may see how you can enjoy the game getting these skills into play.

Other than buying there is no real "easy" way, but there are some strategies that make it easier.

 

1. Join games early, 0-0 being ideal, but definitely not when each team has 5 or more flags. As a lower rank you have no chance at getting crystals.

2. If you join a game that is say 3-0, join the losing side, not the winning side. By joining the lower side you have more of a chance to grow your point value and gain crystals if you help them win.

3. Become efficient at your weapon / driving. Learn to simultaneously drive your tank and move your turret. The tutorial posted above in the link is actually very good so make sure you watch the videos.

4. Become efficient at using power ups, don't waste them. (EXAMPLE: Don't grab a nitro, and sit back, go for the flag)

5. Become efficient at passing up power ups. This is a VERY tough concept, but lets say you are ranked first by a large margin on your team and a couple of guys come in with faster/stronger tanks. Let them help you both win and stay on top of the rankings for crystals by letting them grab the power ups).

 

How do you know where you are ranked? Hit the TAB key in game and you can figure out what to do.

 

6. AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, Join games that are close to your rank. If you are a recruit, don't go join a game with Generals, Marshals and Lietenants. You will get your ass-kicked and gain nothing from it other than sitting still and shooting your gun from a long range.

yeah agreed but using a twins in arena is a good way as well to get points and crystals.

im only master sargent but i verse people who have mamaoth's and freeze!.so what i would do is have a fully upgraded hunter or at least a M2 beacuse it's fast and strong and quite cheap....if you can afford that get a titan M1 or wasp M2 or 3.i do quite well with a railgun and a titanM1 try that combo unless you have a better tank but i would use the railgun of most of the maps....but its best to use a M2 flamethrower on silence(be the blue team its much easier to get kill's and dont go where the pipe is go by the the wall near the slope where the red team would come up,if your not sure where this is then join a silence game where im in it and on the blue team)BUT IF YOU WANT CRYSTALS FAST USE THE RAILGUN OR ISADIA.

In my opinion Isida and rail is the best weps to use for now. I have played over 5 games with my m2 isida I join while the other people have 200-500 points I always seem to catch up and get 1 place!! :twisted: Yeah it PWNS! Untill shaft comes out and other weps use rail and isida and try to get them up to at least m2 isida. Rail get m3 no question untill shaft. That's my best opinion.

 

I also have m1 hornet its awesome for flag capture! Viking is for small maps and a alternative for those maps.

Generally speaking most people don't think that far ahead. It is much easier just to use the simple tips posted by myself and mehdadoo in his thread.

 

Also driving around and snatching up crystals as a whole, is a significantly less efficient way to earn crystals vs. helping your team win by being effective and scoring points through kills / flag grabs / healing (as is the case with isidia).

 

If we are talking about what is the fastest and most efficient weapon to make crystals then hands down it is Isidia for the following reasons:

 

1. you don't have to interact with the enemy to score points. In fact you score more points healing friendlies vs. killing enemies.

2. You get points for incremental healing, meaning you score regardless of whether or not you fully heal your team mates. You don't get points for half killing an enemy

3. It is the second cheapest "tier 2" weapon available. I classify it as tier 2 because it is still used heavily in high rank games, the cheapest being rail gun with its OHKO potential

4. You can be fully upgraded by WO2, which means you can climb higher on the points list and earn more crystals sooner than other weapons.

5. Even at M2 it is pretty effective and cheap

One more thing, you will start seeing increased gains as you upgrade your weapon. So make sure you pick something you like and invest all your energy into making that thing M3.
