Distribution of crystals; change in battle reward

so for this i'm going to be talking about crystal distribution.

make sure to leave your input after reading this!

 

 

1. battle funds

have you ever been doing really great in a battle (like your score is 1000+) but your on the losing team? well i for one hate that!

so here's what i'm suggesting: the battle fund should be divided up individually by each person (meaning: ex: battle fund: 5592 score: 1095 on the winning team. you get: 3062. other person's score: 2835 you get: 3977.) now remember that that's a example! this is how i suggest it be done: (using the example from before) battle fund: 5592 score: 2835 so 2835 would become 0.2835 then you times that by the battle fund: 5592x0,2835=1585.332 rounded to 1585. so that's how many crystals that person should get.

 

2. daily bonus

anything times 0 is 0 so do your math right

The maths is nonsensical, not done with any real logic. You incorrectly assume that the total of the scores earned in that situation by all players in the battle is 10000 (as you seem to be trying to indicate that a player should earn crystals based on the percentage of the total score they earn), but this also discounts the fact that you actually lost the battle. In addition, the 'you get' figures appear to have been pulled out of thin air, and do not add up - I am not entirely sure what you are referring to there. All in all, disregarding the maths and considering the idea that "crystals should be distributed based on score only", this would still not be viable - as this would mean there is no reason to try and win a battle. You would just have to earn as high a score as possible to get a good reward, and there would therefore be no point having a team battle.

 

There is already a complex algorithm in place for fund distribution in team games. This algorithm was also changed some time ago to deal with the point you yourself have made - that others, including the losers, should get at least some crystals and that the winners shouldn't always get them all. Therefore, this problem has already pretty much been dealt with - the fund distribution system is more fair than it used to be. And it takes into account both the scores of individual players, and the performance of the team as a whole (e.g. how much a team won/lost by). This current system is surely fairer than your suggestion as it rewards players for trying to win as a team, too.

 

As for more crystal Daily Bonuses, whilst this might seem like a great idea, it wouldn't lead to good things. If everyone has more crystals, then everyone will just be able to buy more stuff, and no-one will be better off. In fact, it will just mean that Tanki Online earns less, as players wouldn't buy as much if everyone could get lots of equipment anyway. Giving everyone more crystals will not be beneficial, and the development has set the current probability of getting a crystal Daily Bonus whilst considering what would keep the game balanced.
