Yes, you are allowed to improve your video. Just make sure you don't double post, just replace the video with a new one in your original message.

Мы уверены, что среди вас много профессиональных игроков, и сегодня хотим поставить перед вами сложную, но очень интересную задачу. Научите других танкистов, как правильно пользоваться припасами в различных игровых ситуациях!

Перед вами десять карт: Рио, Серпухов, Плато, Песочница, Иран, Тишина, Будущее, Полигон, 2042 и Кунгур. Каждая из них популярна, для каждой существует множество тактических приёмов.

Отличные задачи для проверки навыков на прочность в каждом игровом режиме:
DM — продержаться 5 минут в заполненной битве, не дав себя уничтожить;
TDM — набрать 40 фрагов за 5 минут в заполненной битве;
CTF — доставить по одному флагу за каждую из команд, следуя правилам: тратить на доставку каждого из флагов не более 1 минуты, взять и доставить флаг, не скидывая его на землю;
CP — обеспечить захват и удержание большего, чем у противника, количества точек на 5 минут игры при заполненной карте.

Конкурсная работа: одна ссылка на видеоурок на Youtube, в котором вы показываете, как выполнить эти четыре задачи, используя припасы. Карту для каждой задачи можно выбрать из списка. Необязательно выполнять всё на одной карте. Оценку каждой работе проставят наши судьи:
Владимир Ковтун, гейм-дизайнер проекта, посмотрит, насколько качественно использованы припасы в уроке;
Николай Колотов, создатель видеоблогов, оценит монтаж ваших уроков;
I.Shomaa, опытный киберспортсмен, сделает выводы о качестве тактических приёмов;
Мария Немирская, ведущая видеоблогов, поделится своими впечатлениями о том, насколько ей захотелось повторить увиденный урок и рассказать о нём друзьям.

Главный приз только один, и за него стоит побороться! Победитель получит танк мечты: полностью микропрокачанные пушку, корпус и краску, которые доступны ему по званию, а его компьютер получит апгрейд на сумму до 30 000 рублей!

We are sure that you are among the many professional players, and now want to put before you a difficult, but very interesting challenge. Learn from each tank, how to use the supplies in various game situations!

Before you ten cards: Rio, Serpukhov, Plateau, Sandbox, Iran, Silence, The Future, Polygon, 2042 and Kungur. Each of them is popular, for each there is a set of tactical tricks.

Great challenges for testing the strength of skills in each game mode:
DM - lasted 5 minutes on a battle, not allowing himself to destroy;

Vladimir Kovtun, game designer of the project, we'll see how well the supplies used in the classroom;
Nicholas Kolotov, creator of video blogs, evaluate the installation of your lessons;
I.Shomaa, experienced cyber sportsman, concluding as a tactic;
Maria unworldly leading video blogs, share their impressions about how she wanted to repeat the lesson seen and tell about it to friends.

The main prize is only one, and it is worth fighting for! The winner will receive a dream tank: fully mikroprokachannye gun, body and paint, which are available to him in rank, and his computer gets an upgrade in the amount up to 30 000!

Entries are accepted in the form of questionnaires before November 6! Please note that sending us a link to the video, you grant us the right to publish the work or part of a video blog "Tanks Online". Good luck to all participants!

Based on the number of entries and overall number of requests we got in the communities, we understood that an additional period of time should be given to tankers to submit their videos.To prevent any complaints, it was decided to open and close all the contests at the same time in all the communities, so it got extended everywhere, not just in EN.I do hope we'll get more good videos to use on our social media and wiki thanks to extending it.Also, please note, this change will not affect any of the videos that have already been submitted. Copying will not go unnoticed, rest assured.Finally, I'd like to apologize to everyone who stayed up late to finish the guides on time. The community management team will make sure next contests get better planned deadlines.

When I first saw the deadline extension, I thought that it wasn't the best idea as it's a competition and its not the best piece of news for those who have rushed to submit their videos.

I thought I'll analyse this for those who have mixed feelings about the deadline extension.

From the perspective of players who failed to meet the deadline, this is Christmas come early. Its a great piece of news.

From the perspective of players who met the deadline, but don't have the best video, this is a second chance for them to double their efforts and topple the top videos. Its a great piece of news for them.

From the perspective of players who met the deadline, and have the best videos, this isn't what you want to wake up in the morning to read. I'll explain why. Only the most committed players will stand a chance of winning. With the deadline extended, all the committed players will have to edit their videos and improve them. This is because they can't not improve their video: They committed so much time and effort to stand the best chance of winning, it's just not possible for them to leave their video as it is, as they would have decreased their chances which would have wasted all their time and effort. This would make them feel cheated, since they are sort of 'forced' to improve their videos a second time. I pity these players. It's not good news for them.

From the perspective of the developers/moderators, it's a good thing. The deadline extension helps many players with a second chance, and since the best players are 'forced' to improve their videos, this improves the overall quality of videos, which is a great thing.

In conclusion, this deadline extension benefits everyone except those who have the best chance of winning.

In my opinion, it's not exactly right to have a deadline extension for a competition and it really hurts the feelings of those who have the best chance of winning. I don't blame them. For them to have put so much dedicated effort and time into one video, to find out that they must put in more, its a little frustrating.

However, one thing that I would like to commend, is the apology. I did not expect that. Never in any one of the online games that I have played have ever done that. It shows that the developers/moderators are truly sorry. It means a lot. Its the best thing they can do in this situation. An apology. Good job developers/moderators.

To the players who would start flaming, you would be being a little unreasonable. I understand your frustration. I know your anger. However, flaming isn't going to change anything. They have apologised, to you.

The deadline extension isn't the best choice, but with the apology, I think it's okay this time round. Just try not to do it again, developers/moderators.

Good luck to all players participating in this competition. I wish you all the best.

Both ways have good and bad points. If we start accepting entries through a form, you won't be able to see how others performed, what videos they made.

 

Comparing your work to others and analyzing them is an essential part of a competition. Making all videos isolated and private is not a 100% right thing too.

 

So, there are no good and bad ways here, but we will certainly try the other method in the future. Thanks for your feedback

This is not a good reason at all, this is a very bad decision to extend the contest in 7 days (!)

Why? because 2 weeks to make a video is enough! 14 days to make one? sure it's enough!

Now all the ones who worked very hard on their video to be perfect will be frustrated!

If they knew from the start that there will be a 3 weeks, they for sure was warking harder.

 

Doing that, you let others the time to make a video that will contain small parts of each of good videos that already posted!!!

 

And the other reason, not less important - IF YOU REALLY WANT MORE VIDEOS, JUST MAKE ANOTHER CONTEST !!!

Now the "Winning Percentage" has reduced due to the fact you extended the contest by 7 days.

you should release all video in forum after closing entry date ,

its open to all for comparing but it will also decided individual merit list not  steeling another idea & paste with some thing extra spicy  in own creativity.

i'm honestly unhappy by the deadline extension. this is just not right for players that put a lot of effort to make their video in time.

you should open a second part of the contest, maybe whit other prizes.

It's funny that you say complaining won't help.

This isn't dictatorship here, if Semyon finds it necessary that the extended was false, what stops him from change his mind?

Yes, you're right to give your opinion, that's what we want.

 

The thing is that Semyon has difficult choices to make.

He  heard us  and got our point, but if he  didn't put off the deadline, people would be complaining because russians got one more week and not english players.

He might have done his decision too tardily, and he apologized about that.

He already launched in-game notifications, and he can't change back to the original plan now.

Next time, he'll make sure this doesn't happen again.

i was already excited to see my result in two more days... but now me and the other hard working and deadline-respecting tankers got penalized, while the lazy ones who dont deserve anything got advantaged. just disappointed.

i have a suggestion, but i dont think it will be even taken in consideration...

close this contest applications and make a new one whit different targets and such. you dont know how much i would be disappointed if a dude who applied after the first deadline would win.
