Hello there, Tankers!

I am Zenith101 and it's been a while since I wrote a thread on the forums. I have passed through two ranks, and as you can see I'm a Sergeant-Major now. I always used to believe that Warrant Officer rank was a crucial checkpoint in a Tanki career. So, I need some help from you all.

 

For you to know more about my style of play, let me describe my Tanki history for you -

Newbie Era - I joined Tanki Online around 4-5 months ago, but I clearly struggled due to the massive influence of druggers who drubbed me every single time I played. I soon quit my old account which was named "LordZenith" by the time I reached the rank of Sergeant. A month passed, and I began to rebuild my old interest in Tanki, eventually ending up with the current account. In the early days, I stuck to Wasp-Firebird, Wasp-Twins and Dictator-Railgun. My initial paints were Marine and Forester, in which I had bought the latter for its incredible camouflage.

 

Mid-Way Bloom - By the time I reached Staff Sergeant, I had managed to attain decent skills in manuevering my tanks and even turning my turret using the "Z" and "X" keys; something I just couldn't perform before this particular rank. I slowly shifted to new guns and hulls, buying Isida, Shaft, Ricochet and Freeze soon along with all the hulls except Titan and Viking. My morale increased, as I started to top a few battles without any supplies (which I haven't used even once until now!). My new paints included Lead, Safari and Dragon (I bought the latter in the paint discount sale!). I soon felt regretful about buying Isida, as I no longer use it, and even Freeze, later fell out of favor.

 

Advent of Better Gameplay - Due to the introduction of Smart Cooldowns, I felt a considerable impact on battles, as I started to top every other battle I played on, and found a winning combination of Hornet-Ricochet and Mammoth-Shaft. I soon bought an armor MU for Hornet, but stopped buying MUs after I saw a heated conversation against them on the forums. I also added Viking-Thunder to my garage, and stopped using Hunter. But, now I am in doubt -

I haven't bought any M1 until now, and I have left pondering over my skills when I have easily beaten by puny lower ranks. Will the lack of crystals reduce my credibility at higher ranks? I am a saver, and have 3240 crystals right now, so I need you all to help me and suggest/advise on my future in Tanki. Which paints, MUs, M1s should I save up for? What improvements should I make to my gameplay? Please do help me!

 

Note: Here are the maps I usually play on - Rio, Iran, Serpuhov, Bridges, Novel, Highland, Cross, Fort Knox, Berlin, Future and many other maps which I play on rarely.

My current garage -

Paints - Lead, Safari, Dragon, Marine, Forester

Hulls - All M0 excluding Titan

Turrets - All M0

This doesn't seem like a 'diary' as such anyway :) it's just an article, and he's not constantly updating it with stuff

Do not forget to use the Search to find answers to your questions. Be attentive and make sure you look through the existing topics before making a new one.

3.2. Do not correspond to the theme of the section/category;

3.3. Contain CAPS LOCK or A LOT OF CaPITAL LeTTERS in the title and/or content of the topic or message;

3.4. Have irrelevant or repeated symbols, characters, emoticons, messages in the title and/or description of the topic or message that complicate understanding of the topic or section or do not have any meaning (Flood), for example == - My topic - ==;

3.5. Contain text with font size more than 24;

3.6. Lack information and do not reflect a sense of the matter in the title or description of the topic;

3.7. Quote too large texts of previous messages and/or images without any special necessity (overquoting);

3.8. Continue to discuss the topics that were closed or deleted by the Administration (necroposting);

3.9. Have a character of a personal appeal to the Forum or game chats participants. For personal communication please use Private Messages. Personal discussions are allowed in parallel with solving issues.

3.10. Contain spam, that is, distribute the information which the addressee did not request, showed no interest in receiving and/or gave no consent to receiving;

3.11. Flame ("arguing for the sake of arguing", an exchange of messages which is just a war of words that often bears no relation to the original cause of the dispute);

3.12. Contain trolling (incitement of community participants to the actions having adverse effects and conflicts for them);

3.13. Aimed at provocation of other Users, the Administration, moderators, as well as obstructing communication at the Forum or game chats;

3.14. Contain referral links, "cheat codes" (addscore, Buy_krictals_in_the_panzer);

3.15. Contain other information or violations that are prohibited by these Game Rules, the Agreement and/or applicable laws.

3.16. For the mentioned violations the Administration shall be entitled, upon its own discretion, to apply to the User restrictions in the form of permanent or temporary Account blocking or temporary or permanent restriction of access to game chats and Forum (ban).

3.17. The Administration shall be entitled, upon its own discretion, to delete any information or message; delete/move the topic created in the wrong Forum's section, without notification.

3.18. Private messages are intended for User's personal communication in game services and on the Forum. While processing complaints about violation of the Game Rules, the Administration shall not consider complaints about private messages. User may stop receiving private messages from another user by adding him/her to the Black List in the appropriate section of the User’s profile on the Forum.

Anyway, your topic is in fact quite interesting, so I guess it's just the title that makes it misleading...

Yeah, it is actually meant to be a post inviting suggestions on my garage and future additions to my garage, since I'm very doubtful about all that. So, can YOU provide advice to me?

Try out all the different hulls and guns at m0 (while they are cheap and easy to buy) and then continue playing with the one gun + hull combo you like most. Always aim to upgrade that combo once the upgrade unlocks. Remember - one M2 M2 tank combo is better than 100 M1 M1 tanks, since you can only use one at a time.
