                                                      Physics Help!

I few days ago I came across the topic Lets learn English, I was pretty much inspired by this to create something similar for a subject I'm interested in and could help people with. So, i came up with Physics Help! If you need help with anything, just PM me or post the question - I wont say I'm an expert, but i will be glad to help (I'm looking for volunteers aswell). I've got quite a lot planned: such as an equation sheet, tests and short lesson type things. I created this topic 'cause i know that Physics is hard, some times the only thing you need is just a few tips and pointers! So, feel free to post any questions 'n stuff bellow.

P.S

Again, I want to make it clear I'm a student that's really interested in physics (Especially Dynamics and Space)- I'm in NO WAY an expert and please dont expect me to know everything! This is why I'm looking for volunteers, please dont hesitate to contact me if your interested!

If you would like to become a volunteer:

Your Nick:

What do you currently do? (Student etc):

Whats your favorite topic / unit in physics? (Projectile motion / Space):

PM me (I.Random) with this template and I will get back to you ASAP

I'd like someone to answer this simple question to understand the style in other countries(Probably the same everywhere).

A Pump can transport 43 litre water from surface to Point B in 8 mins. If height between surface and Point B is 12m - Find the Power of the Pump.

Extra:

Find out total energy input if efficiency of the machine is 22%.

Im going to probably get this wrong, but I'll try anyway.

The main Formula:

Power = Force * Distance / Time

---------------------------------------------------------------

Power = Force * 12 / 480

       Force = mass * acceleration  I

       Force = 43 * 9.8                    I  Probably messed up here

       Force = 421.4                        I

Power = 421.4 * 12 / 480

          = 10.54 W

Total Input = Elect. Input / Eff * 100

                = 10.54/22 *100

                =47.91 J

I tried, electricity / energy I'm not a big fan of. :) Say, wanna volunteer and help out?

Because Centrifugal force = Centripetal force?

A video would be nice to explain this. Searched it on Google but the results are very technical.

How does the Earth revolve round the Sun? Which particular motion? Can you give an explanation by means of an equation?

You might want to refer to this. Sorry I couldn't give you an explanation.

EDIT - This is quite good aswell:
