Different design for M3+ (M4) equipment

Recommended Posts

I have been playing with some higher ranked battles and realized that there was no way to tell the difference between m3 tanks and m4 tanks.

My suggestion is that once a tanked has completely micro-upgraded a certain m3 hull or turret to m4 that the silver or chrome part on the turret or hull would become a golden chrome.

This way you can be sure to tell the difference between m3 and m4 tanks as well as strike fear into other tankers once this gold color is achieved.

What do you think?

You know I think this could be a really cool thing. Having an m4 tank is pretty rare (unless you buy with real money <_< ) among players in the battle field. Most of the time, the tanks are 1/2 MU'd at m3 because of the cost. I think this could be a pretty cool thing. It would command a lot of respect among those I think who truly deserve it!!!

I think there should be a distinguishing factor for M4s, but I wouldn't like making some parts of them gold. Instead, how about adding those cool blue lights we find on M3 hulls to M4 turrets? It wouldn't require much modification to the textures, and it would make the turrets look more futuristic.

But how would you do that to something like Ricochet? I like the Gold idea better.

Doesn't have to be blue lights.

I wouldn't like gold-colored turrets/hulls, since it would mess up a lot of the color schemes. Grey/black colors are very neutral; they go well with almost any color on the color wheel. Gold doesn't go well with everything.

I think you'll like it better if you saw it. Also, how would you distinguish a M4 Hull then, if it wasn't with the Gold plating?

it take me (free play) 1 year to reach 3/5 fully mu-ed, or in next mu sale, 4/5 fully mu-ed from m3,

of course, you need to mu only 1 combo, and mostly only have 1 m3 combo to be able to save enough, like 900k crystal.

So much hard work for Micro-upgrades. . . .

I guess I do agree that players should have some accessory or detail that showcases the fact that they have a fully-Micro-upgraded stat.

But this visible detail should only be present when the player has FULLY micro-upgraded an aspect.

A gold plate or chrome wouldn't be the first idea that would pop into my mind. Though it's not a bad idea I guess. :D

In fact, it would be more ideal as it shouldn't be as tough to implement as other ideas would. . . .

But "lights" is also a very good idea in my opinion. For example, it could look like some kind of tool for "aiming." It'd look really nice.

See what I mean??? Getting an m4 is extremely hard!!!! Its obvious you worked really hard to MU that to where it is right now. Wouldn't it be great to get some kind of recognition for the effort you put in to your combo? Gold chrome or any other kind of new visual upgrade would make you look menacing and get you mad respected.

In the game, the chrome on each tank tends to be somewhat of a dull and bland grey. Maybe the gold could be a super shiny gold, like something that gleams with the shine as well as when izzys and firebirds and railguns on it (sorta like a reflective glow).

well it is ur choice wether or not you want to fully mu your tank but if this idea is implemented in the game and you see a gold tank maybe you will have second thoughts about fully micro upgrading ur tank.
