Addition: If a player complains about someone spamming him, and he provides a screenshot, then that player is limited to 15 PMs per day. If that player gets another ban, then he is limited to 10 PMs.

Superstar Racing already has something similar where if a teammate comes on a message displays in the bottom right-hand corner. I don't think BEST friends would work though, let's just do FRIENDS. Why would we need a best friends system? Let's just have a message display in the bottom right or bottom left when a friend comes on.

Hey guys,

In the friends list I think there should be something where it tells you what your friends are doing or where they are. For example, if they're in normal battle, it should say the battle and its link and if there's space. But if the friend is in a private battle, the friend can appear to be offline and you wont be able to tell the difference. This respects their privacy and you wont try to talk to them on global chat and look dumb when they don't reply.

This would be very helpful because half the time I don't even know what my friends are doing. The main problem is I don't know if they're in a private battle or looking at battles.

Excuse me if this has been posted before, but I feel like this needs more emphasis.

Ummmm I think the friend list has that already. The friends list can show you which server your friend is in, which battle (click the battle link and the game will take you to the battle) and if a battle is private, I'm sure your friend would want things to stay private you know what I mean?

The only valid suggestion here is the indication of private battles. However, letting players know that someone is in a private battle might be a violation of that person's privacy, which is why the developers didn't want to add it.

 

As for indication for friends in server lobby - if their name is in green and there is no battle link shown, then it means they are in the lobby. I don't think there is no need for more indication.

ok i understand the privacy part

but i still cant tell if they're in private battle or in the lobby looking at battles or afk or what

 

another suggestion is if a friend is in a private battle, they can look offline and you wont be able to tell if they're offline or in private battle but if it shows they're online, you know they're not in a private battle
