Can you make it possible to send invites to selected people. So you send invites to 3 people but you dont have to individually send it to them. It would be much easier than clicking all your friends and then sending them invites one by one

Wonder what if they had a clan friends button, in the friends button,

we can easily understand the members who are in our clan,

just like this below;

 

We wont have to remove some friends in order to stay with clan friends, it would really be better if you make an update for this or better than this.

 

I hope many will like this update because it is really helpful!

OK, you know what'd be better than a best friend system or a "starring friends system"? A whole way to create up to 3 new sections of friends list with whomever you'd like + the main thingy with everyone in the list. I could make a "Clan Members/Allies" section, a "Random Active Nugs Who Happen to be My Friends (shortened to RANWHtbMF) and... some other dumb section.

I don't think developers plan on improving the friends system any more in the near future. Although it's possible that they could implement this when releasing the clans system, when distinguishing between different groups of friends will be necessary (i.e. just random game friends and clan members).

 

But I gotta say, I read your idea again and it seems that not many things you suggest actually have a chance of being added. In-game PM already exists, either via gifts or by using the server chat. Adding any other kind of PM is either impossible or very difficult in the Flash version of Tanki.

While for all other ideas you suggest there are individual topics:

• Notification for friends coming online
• Divide friends list into tabs
• Voice chat (although this one is unlikely to be implemented)

Okay thankfully there is a friends system, that you can find friends and play with them of invite them to your battles...

 

But what about a best friends system where you can send PM to them and when your friends comes online it will say Nickname is online or offline..

 

You might ask why do we need a PM system in the game, we already have a great one in the forum?

 

Here's why.. Not many people use the forum sadly and having a PM system in the game would make talking to your friends much easier..

 

It would look like Nickname has sent you a PM open or view later and it would give the headline of the PM..

 

Also in battle or, main chat, it would say "nickname" has sent you a PM, View now or later.

 

I also thought of having  voice chat, which would also be cool, it would well really with when tanki moves to unity

 

 

Also you categorize your friends into groups, like Parkour, Clan, Besties, etc.

 

 

 

 

 

 

It  would be very useful and helpful..

This actually sounds interesting, though here is where I think you should edit the topic to improve the idea.

• Your friendly list should already be your "best friends" list. Don't let anyone on to it unless you are actually friends with them.
• There should be no hold option for messages, as this could potentially disrupt game play if someone takes a break once a big heat of battle slows down so they may read.
• Furthermore, I would think there should be a limit regarding how many messages you could send per, minute, half hour, hour, ect (something along those lines).

Disruption of game play is really my main concern.

i wish you could send a private message to your friends on the game because a lot of my friends don't look on forum or they won't read it infill couple days or week after i sent it so i wish you could send a private message when there offline and when they log on it will show them there message. Also i wish you could put hidden places, secret places so you can get in they were fun when this game had them specially for parkour its not as fun, i know people will hide in them with the flag but like i mean they were still fun and you could make it where you can't bring flag in or not in ctf battles but those maps where fun like pass, and highland, skyscrapers called now which was altar before or something like that but those were so cool. maybe make like parkour battles or parkour maps so you can play on and don't have like a battle so know one will join and start killing people like crazy and ruin it , i mean it would be very awesome

How about a small change? I was thinking how in a lot of MMORPG's I've played there is a chat that you can see at any time. And you can choose to filter out what people in certain groups are saying. Like, you can choose to only see what your guild, realm, friends, or entire sever is saying. And you can also choose to only let people in your guild or realm to see what you're saying. So, sort of like having "groups" of friends, only in chat. This would be a good idea because then we could chat with clan members without having to go the forum, e-mail, or facebook, etc.

You could be able to "favourite" some of your friends. And it would tell you when they come online/go offline - if this would be a distraction, then you could be able to disable in settings. Also, you should be able to send a message to anyone through in-game. Just incase you wanna invite someone, they would know the reason.

A small messaging system while sending an invitation would be awesome too. You can send a message 30 letters max when inviting, because most of the time you don't actually know why your friend is inviting you..

What if, this idea was tied in to the Achievements Idea, and your friends could see a notification saying "Your friend has completed achievement bla bla bla....."?

Also, what if your friends could see when you ranked up? Or better, could they also see how much experience you have so they could know when you're close to ranking up?

Great "idea" about an in-game PM system! You can hardly claim the "idea" since probably everyone once gave it a thought or so. Especially like the 'idea' of sending a small message with the battle invitation.

why not a PM time limit? say, 20 or 30 seconds, which is around a 30 word message for what I would assume the average typer.

This is a great idea, which I had thought of when having a rank party and others not knowing what it is, so refusing. Also simply to communicate with your clan and see if they can attend training, or busy in battle, etc.

This should really be in the game. I have a lot of friends but i want to know when my actual FRIENDS are online. Also, the fact that we could message eachother would be pretty cool. Especially if we want to tell them why were inviting eachother (e.g. : I need someone to come to this battle, please help it grow, theres only 4 ppl) or maybe: Our team is getting hammered could you please help?

This should just definitely be in the game as it is a great idea.

Great idea, this would be a really convenient addition to the game. :)

I have several friends who I play with regularly, but I have tons of other "friends" who just see my high rank and friend me, and I accept cause why not. So It would be cool to have this in the game so I can see when my REAL friends are online, and this idea would benefit by including a PM system, cause I have trouble with posting a private battle and random people joining. :) Also a really great way to chat Privately with your friends cause they're just so cool. B) (and with no eavesdroppers)

I've always wondered the same thing, wouldnt it be easier? Lol

For instance I'm in a stadium game a few minutes ago, i leave because a friend invites me to his game.. i go like a good friend and, its a hopeless case... :L

I wanna know what im going to and why, and to talk to freinds in little messages. :D

In your friend list so you know if they active... Example yo haven't seen someone or talked or etc in like 6 months or a year you be who's this and maybe could delete them... But you know how people take breaks.... So as you saying it be cool oh I'm going to take a long break from tanki for like 6months or what ever so you know oh ok.. You be still active wants your back so I won't delete you... Plus it be good if you could see how much do they have left till they rank... Example you log on oh they have 1k pretend there offline... You be oh I'll make sure I'll be on later or the next day when there on because they probably be ranking....li see what I mean.,,, so you never miss the day there ranking...!!!!

This would make a good update only I would really like the "Best friends" thing. I have way too many friends to count and I would have to delete every friend that isn't someone who i am friends with in order to clear my friends system. Being in a clan would be easier if you could put them in a "Best friends place" and then they would be separated from other friends,

This is a good idea, they can make another section when you click friends button and between friends,sent requests, there should be a button called close friends where you can add your fellow clan teamates for or anyone in real life. when you click on your close friends, there should be a extra button called message where you can message them indulvisually in battles and on different servers. :D good idea

i use to have/accept friends from the day i play tanki for now i have like thousands of friends but i would love to have a favourite sections in my friend list to keep my clan members and my best friends shown seperatly so it would be easy to find out in a hurry and it would be easy for player to find there friends easily .

 

The tanki developers can add the favoutite sections as we add them as favourite to show them on top of the friendlist or like a favourite section like in Friends,Sent request,IncomingRequest
