I started using a controller because my fingers would hurt after long play sessions.  I wanted to keep playing, but the pain in my fingers prevented me from doing so, hence the reason I now use a controller when I play.  (Using a controller allows me to play for hours at a time with little strain to my fingers.)

So how about you guys?  Do any of you use a game controller to play Tanki Online?  Why or why not?

If your fingers are hurting that much you can't play any longer maybe it's time to quit and go outside to get some fresh air?

Perhaps. ;)  (It's been a while since I've played for that long of a period, though.)

But it took some effort to tune it for acceptable game experience

You use a dualshock 4? wow that's neat. Could I use an xbox controller?, I'm more familiar with that layout..

Yes. In fact, that's what I use. :)

Try playing the piano/organ :D

I'll stick to my banjo, thanks. ;)

I use it but really hard to play.

It is at first, but it doesn't take long to get the hang of it.

Keyboard alone works fine for me, but I did start to wear out the arrow keys. Now I use the alt controls except when I'm eating with one hand and playing one handed. Usually I get shot a lot more when playing one handed, guess there's always a trade-off.
