^ So , this sign will show us where Gold Box drop for 100% sure right ?

Looking through the posts on this thread, I am still utterly confused. I want a simple answer here. Will there be only ONE marked Gold Box drop point where it will definitely drop OR will all the gold box drop points be shown and the "randomness" remain?

When siren goes off one of predetermined gold box drop zones will become visible. So yes, you will be able to know where it will be dropped.

But being able to find the place and actually finding the place are different things. I mean, you can find it and stay on it doing nothing, pretending you haven't found anything. Or you can shoot enemy tank one by one coming to your spot, guarding the zone. Or you can do it old fashion way standing in the circle with other tanks. And... well... what we need is diversity — gold hunt should take different forms.

Standing still is not that fun as fighting or looking for something. I mean, catching a gold box will require more meaningful efforts, rather than waiting and hoping for luck.

hmm but lets try it out. i am sure there will be an open testing and if devs could actually make gold box drop very often in test servers then we can check that out. and later we all can give our opinion. but first check it out :)

^second that, also the part that there should be a (crazy) high amount of Goldboxes.

Otherwise we don 't get a clue of what this change in actual gameplay will mean.

Okay so when can we test this update out?

And cHazel can you make gold box drop frequently in the test servers? So that we can try this out.

Now special drop zones for Golds. :o How many will be on every map? But I fear it will mean if you sit in 1 zone and Gold falls in another you can't get to it in time. :mellow: Golds should still just fall in crystal drops. Anyway I love the new Gold Box. You know the blue one containing 100 crys. :lol: There will be more mults then ever just sitting and waiting for that 100 box to drop. -_-

I believe this thing with gold box sign will be useless . I think they just mark after the alert the zone spot`s for some of players who don`t know where it drop . Is a BAD ideea to show us where the gold will drop . Think , 20 players on a spot . Will be like Effel Tower ...

You are right. Now it will not be about skills anymore. Everyone will wait at the right spot, and eventually kill each other.

 

I will miss those Polygon DM when everyone stop kill during the Gold and wait for the Gold to fall, without any idea of the spot.

Wait. You will add more drop zone in each map? Like Sandbox in this V-Log? Why you don't keep Gold drop like they are right now, dropping where crystals drop too.

More important. Think about how ugly it will be. Imagine a map like Stadium. A lot of supplies drop in this map. The middle of the map will be ugly. Just a ground covered with a lot of signs...

Once someone found the good spot, everyone will ran to that spot and start killing each other. A player with Freeze will just have to come with DP and with the benefits of all previous damages, he will kill all the players.

Wait so you will be able to see the zone where gold drops or all the zones not just the specific one? Bad idea with just one zone because you will have campers that kill the fun of the gold -.-

Best thing to do is to highlight all the spots where Gold can fall. So, new players can now where Golds can fall, but not know the exact spot.
