Paint issue - Glitch?

When I chose to equip my tank with white paint it turned red!! This has only happened recently. No I am not colour blind. Using Windows 8.1and IE11 metro. Is this a glitch? Makes fighting in snowscapes rather dangerous.

It used to happen to me, when I used IE. Now I use Firefox, and everything is fine :)

BTW, you are only red to yourself, not others.

Has this only happened to you in actual battles, or only when you notice the paint in your garage?

Yeah it's a glitch, but dont worry, everybody else sees it as white. only you see it red :D

Is this the first time that such a thing happened? Did it happen before and somehow got fixed after some time?

 

Sometimes when you equip something from your garage in a hurry, the system sometimes misses some orders. In this case the paint 'order' due to which the paint doesn't change. 

 

If it is an in-game equipment changing procedure, and the results are the same - paint didn't change, the waiting period isn't counted and you can still change. The counting period doesn't update until the combo is changed, paints - turrets - hulls respectively.

 

The best solution to most of in-game glitches is cleaning Browser & Flash cache. When these are cleaned time-to-time, you are most likely to prevent a lot of problems.

Don't use IE, in my opinion it sucks. Use Google Chrome or Firebox.

in my opinion, standalone is the best but if you prefer browser than I would suggest firefox because google chrome doesn't have good graphics.

Hello. You probably have flash player V14 which causes some issues with Tanki. You need to roll back to the older version. Here's the guide:

Thanks for all the help and re-assurances. It is the first time this has happened. I have tried using Firefox and Google Chrome but the Flashplayer plugin keeps crashing. I have followed the solutions to turn off a flashplayer but it usually crashes after 10 minutes. I'm new to Windows 8.1 and haven't used IE since version6? but this v11 works perfectly well. So much so that I am more than addicted to the game. Can you play the standalone version on laptop, and where can I find it? Thanks again. Good to know the forum works so well .
