Chat Violators and Game Violators Section

I think this concept is pretty simple: Make the threads anonymous.

 

I find that some people (and I have to admit, myself at times) are afraid to report someone in the game or chat violators section because they are not anonymous. Now, I don't know how they'll make it anonymous but I think that it will encourage a lot more people to report violators which means less rule breakers in the game which is always a good thing.

 

Think about it now. When you report someone two things can happen:

 

1. The violator has logic and understands that they violated the rules of the site, game, chat, and/or forums and doesn't take revenge or have a grudge against you.

 

2. The violator is very furious now and since they know who reported them they can follow you around, sabotage your games, and do other nasty, annoying, and immature things.

 

Unfortunately, I find that option number one is the path rarely taken by violators and that option number two is the path most preferred by violators.

 

TL;DR? Basically what I said was that the game and chat violators section should be anonymous.

 

Now before I end this post I'd like to add something.

The best "comeback" to any offense is to ignore and report the offender.

It's been quite a while since I've seen such a topic in this thread that I found was very good.

It has good reason to it, and doesn't hurt anyone really. Well, unless you're talking about the people who get banned since this could encourage others to report. Lol.

Though I'm a bit surprised. . . I'd actually like the violator to know who reported him/her. You know, just to rub it in their faces that they got banned. :lol: And to show them their limits. . . .But I guess they can start making lies about you, etc. . . .Oh well.
