Masters of Parkour

A new contest is out with better prizes: a paint with protection and free crystals! The main topic can be found here (Main Thread) and its discussion topic can be found here (Discussion Thread). In this article I'll show you the winners and details of the previous Masters of Parkour contest.

Winners of the previous contest

Old Contest vs. New Contest

Prizes

1 place: 100 000 crystals, 500 supplies each, Tanki Online T-shirt and mug with the game's logo.
2 place: 50 000 crystals, 300 supplies each, Tanki Online T-shirt and mug with the game's logo.
3 place: 30 000 crystals, 100 supplies each, Tanki Online T-shirt and mug with the game's logo.

200,000 crystals per team, and a Parkour Master paint to each of its members. The paint will be boosted with 30% protections against Railgun and mines!

Video Length

Length of video must not exceed 30 seconds

Your video should not be longer than 60 seconds.

Paints

Video must be made specifically for this contest that's why at least one of participants should be using Traceur paint. The paint can be bought in Garage and will be removed once the contest is over.

The video must be made exclusively for this contest. Videos made earlier will not be accepted. To prove that your video is exclusive, all members of your team must be wearing the “Parkour Master” paint. Once the contest is over, the paint will be removed from all garages, except for those of the winners. Winners are to keep the paint till the next Masters of Parkour contest.

The first paint isn't removed from our garage - won't the new paint be removed too? Who knows.

This were the biggest changes in my opinion between both contests. With longer video you can show off more and so the videos will be more interesting to watch. Also, when I was watching the previous winners the level of parkour changed in a positive way. There are already some great videos posted in the official topic. Awaiting more participations! :)

Guides

A new part of every issue: parkour guides! Together with The Flying Parkourists I’m showing you each week how to conquer houses in a random map. For this issue I’m posting the guide in Boombox! - enjoy!

Thanks to ‘The Flying Parkourists'

What can you guys expect for articles in the future? As I said, every article will have a new parkour guide in a new map.For this, I accepting video’s from other parkourists, as well as using The Flying Parkourists’ guides. Read further to see which video’s I do accept.

Maps that are done so far? Courage, Deck-9, Polygon and Boombox.

What kind of video’s I do accept?

  • Good quality.
  • Not too much effects.
  • Clear English speaking voice: explaining the parkour.
  • The whole map has to be conquered (except similar houses).
  • The video shouldn’t contain anything what breaks the rules.
  • It can be any map, except the ones who are done already.

If you think your video suits the rules sent me a PM (Link). Please sent a PM by the following way:

  • PM topic: Parkour Guide ‘Name of the map’
  • PM must contain:
    • Nicknames of the participants of the guide.
    • Link of topic if you have one.
    • Link to the video.

Notice:

  • You won't get paid crystals, supplies or anything else for this.
  • Don’t send me PM’s to join ‘The Flying Parkourists’ or with videos that don’t follow the rules that are written above.

Good luck, I’m awaiting replies!

Missions

Our newest mission, suggestions for a new mission? Share them!

How does it works by the way? The Flying Parkourists will try to complete missions which you can post below the video at YouTube or below this article here in the forum. We’ll choose a random mission which we’ll complete for the next edition of this series of articles, so the earlier you post your mission, the more chance that we are going to give it a try. As mentioned before it’s a project of The Flying Parkourists, you can send video’s of completed missions, but I’m not going to use it in these articles or anywhere else. So as you can see it’s quite easy: you guys send the missions, The Flying Parkourists picks one and will give it a try.

How to send your ideas?

Where to post your idea? – Post all your ideas as comment below the video on Youtube or post it below the article in the forum. Don’t spam The Flying Parkourists topic or my topic with your ideas and suggestions for new missions!

What to post?

  • Name of the map.
  • Screenshot of the element we have to conquer.
  • Description of your idea (special tank, way or whatever).

Rules

  • Don’t repeat ideas that we already have done.
  • Don’t repeat the same map more than twice in a row.
  • Make sure the idea is possible.
  • Make sure your ideas doesn’t break any of the game rules.

The Team

The articles are written to entertain you, but don’t forget that we have to thank the following team of helpers!

Parkour Team ‘The Flying parkourists’: purveyor of the video’s, don’t forget to stalk them at their YouTube channel (Link) and to visit their forum page for the latest information (Link).
