2 New Turrets

Guess any two turrets from this imaginary not related to any plans list ;)

 

tesla coil
shotgun
grenade launcher
melee weapon
rocket launcher
artillery
laser emitter
phaser array
rotary cannon
microwave cannon
flak cannon
emp cannon
self aiming missile launcher

 

I think some sort of Grenade laucher that can shoot over obstacles and had reasonable splash would be awesome, and also some sort of melee weapon would be interesting

Well I personally think new turrets not going to be fun, cause look we got all turrets, from which there is 1 that you will love. I can't think of any new turrets except from some mixed isida+railgun. I will draw it using pencil on paper, am artist :). Not as the pro.

Just have finished the Statistics of my new turret, can't think of its name:

Its like Ricochet but little bit more different cause if you look at Ricochets Statistic and my new turret once there quite different. Its also prize is really big as you might of noticed. My new turret will be shooting be saying losing against ricochet in range but on m3 it takes over a lot. It will have different sound effect when shooting, different colours when shooting and different forum and its sound when hits objects. The available ranks to buy it are also different accept from M0 & M3 but I might change it to be able from Generalissimo rank. And when it hits the enemy it will have Orange exposition like Thunder and color will be same as the balls it shoots and also when it gets till max range it just blows up and there is certain amount of space the splash will happen. If there will be like 5 takes together and I shoot one of them they get damage depending how far they are.

I have two hopes and two guesses:

Hopes: shotgun and self aiming missile launcher - those would be sweet! Devs probably won't add these though because they would be two good.

Guesses: rocket launcher and emp cannon

Reasons why some others might not be added: tesla would be similar to isida, shotgun would be similar to thunder and too powerful, lazer emitter would be simiar to railgun (similar but different), rotary cannon is like twins, microwave cannon makes no sense, self aiming missile launcher would be too powerful as rockets do massive damage and it wouldn't miss.

 

Why nobody suggesting a melee weapon? Something like this would be interesting :D

Tier 1: Smoky, Firebird, Twins, Railgun

Tier 1.5 (ish): Isida


Tier 2: Thunder, Freeze, Rico, Shaft


 

 

Freeze is the Tier 2 counterpart of Firebird (Tiers are based on rank availability [at M0]), Thunder is the Tier 2 counterpart of Smoky, and so on, but what about the lonely Tier 1.5? It would make sense if one of the weapons was a counterpart to Isida.

An actual ballistic artillery! This game could use concept like Worms Armageddon Mortar or Rocket Launcher. Imagine if you could turn your gun up and down instead of left and right? That would take some skill to handle and will be fun as hell.

Alrighty then... who can guess how exacly this thing will work? :)

This is not going to be another Twins, we got some interesting mechanics built in.

I'll take a guess:

 

Now that MOAR DAKKA is confirmed, this new gatling gun thingy would have to shoot lots of bullets. And fast. Since they're ballistic rounds instead of plasma rounds, they'll probably travel instantly, like Smoky. Twins will probably be the only turret with infinite ammo, so I think this new turret will have limited ammunition. In addition, this is a gatling gun; it needs to spin up before it reaches its maximum rate of fire. So, here's my prediction about this weapon:

  • High rate of fire, most likely faster than Twins.
  • Limited supply of ammunition like Ricochet.
  • Very low damage per shot, since you'd need to balance it out.
  • Bullets will travel instantly, fitting the trend with the other ballistic weapons in the game.
  • The rate of fire will increase the longer you hold down the spacebar, making it weak at first and devastatingly powerful once it spins up. It's the only unique trait I think is feasible for a weapon like this.

Let's see how accurate this guess is. :ph34r:

^Waiting for the day that turret is released and is nothing like the post above (If that really happens, will die of laughter)

About the list in post #6... Isn't Thunder already some sort of "grenade launcher"? It's firing some explosive other than a grenade that explodes on impact, and it's most definitely not a shotgun (unless I am completely unaware on how they work) as I highly doubt shooting the ground to hit someone to the right of the spot of the impact would work for a shotgun.

Fun? I doubt it.

That concept sounds even worse than shaft's one.

Worms isn't 3D.

That will be ineffective against left-right controlled turrets and useless at all in most of maps that has indoor places of vertical gameplay like Gravity or Noise. So, artillery in any realisations is really, REALLY bad idea.

Ok, guys, I translate most important thing about new minigun. My eng isn't perfect, but anyway.

When you shoot from that turret for long period of time it become overheated, and whole your tank lost it's hp like if you're being damaged from firebird. So, actually, you can't shoot without end.

the two new turrets are shotgun and machinegun

plus their might be two new hulls,one might be a hovercraft (they do have the capabilities to make this because of the ufo tanki tank video on youtube) the other might be a simple hull but when it reaches its destination it deploys,its protection becomes bigger but it cant move til you reassemble it.

this is the machingun your talking about. today the vlog was suppose to be already on youtube but it is not :angry: :( i agree on it should have a gatling gun barrel.i disagree on the rest of it except the ammo feed/belt.

I believe the V-LOG said the only limit on the machine gun would be its tendency to overheat after it shoots for enough time, continually. It would start to burn, like a Firebird's effect.

 

Honestly, I'll be fine until they add little people to the game graphics.
