Admins of Chat

How about having Admins or Moderators that monitor chat? They can ban/mute the offenders and chat violators instead of players having to manually report offenders by making posts and whatnot. What happened to a report button? Doesn't all games have those? I was looking in chat and they're were atleast 3 people making sexual advances towards people like saying "I"m wet" or "I"m horny" or asking people if they were horny and whatnot. This is extremely annoying and why those words aren't banned is beyond me. 

 

So do you think that having mods or admins for chat would be helpful?

You mean a chat filter? We do have in-game mods who mute people, but they aren't always online 24/7.

But yep, agreed. Although talking is part of human nature, etc., there are some things that don't belong in public, much rather in a PM. (Private Message) It's called a PUBLIC Chat for a reason. Would you say these things in public? :rolleyes:

That doesn't mean people should spam sexual things... you don't see any other gaming website without specific filters. And how is SEX not filtered out??? What!?????

Anyway, there are only 18 including the admins. They do moderate the chat like you suggest. Players are able to report so they can HELP the moderators. As there are only 18, it is impossible for them to cover every server for 24 hours a day. Of course there will be some violators that don't get banned by a moderator but then it's up to the player (you) that sees the bad language to follow these instructions and report them here.

I know. I was also agreeing with you, indirectly. 

 

And Peace Keeper, That is exactly my problem right there. You have to go through a bunch of posts and boohickey just to get offenders locked. There should be a report button and if there isn't enough admins, they should be recruiting players to be mods (that are trustworthy). If they abuse their positions then players can report them and they will be investigated by an ADMIN. Just like ANY other website :/

All I"m saying is that this all this sexual offending biz on chat needs to stop. And if their system isn't working then that means that there needs to be a change.
