Okay lets start off by saying, this update I'm not too sure what happened. Players may like it players may not but, I'll be focusing on why I think this last update messed up isida.

Let's start off by saying isida looks like a big ol' crayon now. It's fat, it goes all over your screen, and it looks like something I drew many years back. To be honest, I liked it the way it was before. I don't think that it matters if it looks like electricity, but that's my own opinion. TANKIONLINE- It's not the younger players who buy crystals, its the older players who have their own money who pays irl money for crystals (unless they're spoiled). So why are you making such a great weapon seem like a child's toy?

Attacking. It seems like isida has gotten an official nerf. How normally you could attack players, it doesn't work that way anymore. You have a limited radius of where the beam will go. So to explain it better, you have to have your isida turret more pointed at your enemy for it to start the attack. And it seems like before you could have the beam follow someone through a tree or another object and the beam would not break. It now breaks.

Attacking cont. Isida now does not "lock-on" to tanks now. It is like a rapid firing weapon now. I could be attacking an enemy and a friend pass through the beam and start healing a friendly instead of attacking the enemy tank.

DON'T FORGET TO VOTE

TL;DR : Isida looks like a crayon, and seems to have been unofficially nerfed(in certain ways).

And sorry if this is in the wrong section. Bit new to the forums.

For the look of Isida. . . I don't really mind the new look. When you look at it up close, it looks really cool actually.

Though in my opinion, perhaps it could be a mix of both, the new look, and a bit of electricity?

I still find it funny that someone compared it to toothpaste however.

It lost the lock-on thing? Whaaaat.

Ima have to test this out.

Toothpaste would be a good comparison actually ;). But yeah isida is like on drugs now. Rapid fires all over the place.

In my opinion I liked the new update better. It looks much cooler to me. Im not sure it was nerfed, because if it was im sure they wouod tell us, they have no reson to hide it...

Its not necessarily a strength nerf, but a limit on how flexible the beam is. Just out of curiosity, how old are you?

Yeah actually. It makes them look so fat. Isida doesn't even look like it's firing nanobolts and the Railgun looks like it's firing spaghetti! Yummy!

I don't think they realize that its not the younger players who pay for crystals irl, its the older players. You gotta make the weapons be appealing to older players so that they want to pay irl to rank it up.

Agreed.

At least I'm not the only one who thinks this update is not only weird but is bad :(...

Not a fan of the new look, but I can deal with it. I don't think it's lost any of its firing angle, so it might just be you.,

Idk but ive mentioned it to other players and they seems to agree.

it looks like a witch's magic spell

LOL! I laughed at this.

Who wants to loan me 100k crystals so I can change my name to toothpaste-anator

First, all of these games are living because there are younger players. Younger players are main fountain of these games to continue.

So please think more.

After now, i don't admire isida's new shooting visual effect. But it isn't much important. Shaft can see opponent isidas and railguns more

quickly, all that is it.

Soooo, you're telling me that younger players are willing and/or capable of donating more money for a game that is enjoyable than us older players?

To be honest, its more likely for the younger players to quit than the older players in my own opinion.

But its also the younger players who cant totally comprehend the game fully that would drive the older players away.

Just like an economy, gotta have a balance between the both.

Some updates may appeal to the older, some to the young. My guess is that this one is for the younger players. But possibly predictable drops for the older?

Sounds like a logical explanation at least. ;)

We need balance yes. But lightning or toothpaste... İ think, much players don't care this.

Actually these games for older players, but being is possible only with younger players.

By the way, i'm 18

I'm 17 but I don't consider myself that young because I'm not anything close to the players that ask each other out on tanki, and treat it like a dating site...
