Predictable Drops are now live!

I have really mixed feelings for the upgrades. The predictable drop of supplies I kinda like, but if the point was to make drug use less frequent as it was with the smart cooldowns, this predictability basically ruins it.The good thing is that you cannot dominate a game by just buying a ton of supplies and drugging constantly. Also, the drop zones are accessible to all, so everyone can enjoy the moment of power. However, this also creates the drug-problem again, players wait for the drops, get 2/3 drugs and use the last from the inventory. And again we have a drugger donimating the game. It does change your game tactics, but imo it does not make the game experience better, it makes it worse.
At lest make the drops disappear eve if the time would be longer

 

The gold boxes ruin the game play, as many have commented already. Players hunt the 50 and 100 boxes like they were 1000 boxes! The purpose of tankionline before this upgrade was to win a game, get some 10 boxes and enjoy the rewards. Now, there is a drugger Mammoth parked at all drop zones, hogging all crystals. Not a good upgrade. Also, the games are now more like CollectCrystalsOnline than TankiOnline. I think there has been a few comments similar. The crystal drop zones need to be reviewed since there are maps that do not give equal access to drop zones.

 

Here are my two cents of ideas:

-Make the predictable supply drops disappear

-have a short smart cooldown for collected supplies

-Disrtibute the supply drop zones farther apart but keeping in mind the balance of the team sides.

-Get rid of 50 and 100 crystal boxes, stick with 1-25. The higher boxes are a huge distraction.

-make the crystal drop zones move every once in a while to discourage parking to the drop zone.

-No supplies close to crystals

-Make at least the gold box drop zone mine-free area.

-Review the crystal drop zones for certain maps (Sherpuhov at least)

-Create more crystal drop zones. This together with sticking to 1-25 crystal boxes would also discourage the parking to the drop zones

dear tanki u should do something that helps the players like now u marked gold drop when notification occurs but everytime its gonna drop mamoths and titans comes and block the gold area

Tanki i really hate this update. 100 crystal boxes i like but everyone drugs to get them.But i'm really thinking of leaving Tanki Online as sad as it sounds.the crystal box areas are full of mults and hardly know one is helping on your team and the opposite team!!     :(

yep bad update, 1 drop zone for like 16 ppl thanks a lot, mamoth paradise, multing everywhere, such a great way to kill this game for another players :)

hahahahhahahahah,today is even worse :D in 90% of the maps I managed to visit (with crystal drops on),absolutely NOONE is playing..crystal boxes are very rare,and everybody just expects to catch them first..nice job..I think that snail races are faster then gameplay today (yet) :D nice job..I am glad that at my rank are common battles with crystal boxes turned off (CP is what I play most),and there is still way to play like that,only like that,only with turned off crystal drops..pure game,no distraction..I am just sorry for the rest of players who don't play Pro battles,together with lowerranked battles..well,hopefully this madness will stop :)

I've gotta say this is good but the new skybox update, that's the background update is quite disturbing while playing. Either tanki has to remodel their hulls and turrets and maps to suite the real world or they have to remove the new feature.

too bad. Developed a small tank from him. but now I do not collect any boxer. Large tanks was very advantageous. Everyone at the beginning of the box. I've done all the hard work that went in vain up to this time. I had to leave the game

improvements do not think it is good,

the players themselves in a zone coduta crystals and do not play,

some are just playing while many are waiting for the crystals,

games, such as flags, overdo themselves because players are secluded as I said to just pick up crystals, and the discontent of those who play increases,

were better for at least the first crystals and for the gold box,

10 players in a game only 4 players eventually play other people think only of crystals,

I happened 100 times assera abbatuta with the flag in front of my team has not recovered the flag to think of not to lose instead of falling crystals, so I'm not satisfied,

I say at least for crystals and gold boxes are just distraction for players who do not play the same.

there is the collection of the crystals as they do not leave no time to harvest.

Thanks for all the feedback in the topic, whether it is positive or negative.

We understand your concerns about the updated crystal boxes.

Here, I'd like to point out 2 things:
1. Accidentally, first day of the update was also a day of double battle funds. Usually, crystal fever will not be that serious.
2. This doesn't mean there is no issue, the predictable drops system will be constantly analysed by our game designers and we will do our best to make it as close to perfection as possible.

 

1. i dont get how such a thing accidenlty happens, i think that even from the 20th to many players willl be multing.

 

2. actualy do i feel bad for the designers, its their work and so many people hate it, but if this won't change will a lot of players be dissepointed.

to be honest do i sort of a like the idea of the update, its just because of "different values" are being dropped, but i didnt expect that so  many 100 boxes would drop and the 10 box almost dissepears.

 

3. after reading a lot of mesages i've got an idea of what i and the others would like:

 

-  the 10 box shall drop more

   (50/75% of the drops is 10 crystal boxes)

 

- some 1,5 boxes may appear the entire  round, not to  many, just some, but in the begin a little more      and after 30 minutes almost none.

 (20/30% of the total drops)

 

- the 50, 100 box drops more rarely, the may fall in the first 10 minutes but very rarely, after 10 minutes    they start dropping some more, also the   50 box drops more often then the 100 box.

 (5/10% of the drops is 50,100 boxes)

 

I hope this may help a little by improving tanki and its updates !

PLEASE REMOVE THIS! everyone is sabotaging! There are hardly 1 or 2 people who play! I Only got gold box Because I Had Mammoth! You'll now See only Heavy hulls! :( Please remove this update! Or Just remove crystal boxes with more value and places where they and gold Box Will drop should not be marker!

sorry to say but now high rank battles are more populated by warrant officers.

 

i was playing TDM in serpuhov and in the opposite team there were all gismo's,marshal etc. and in my team there were lieutenant,warrant officers etc looking for 100 crystal box. in the end we lost just because of the players who were just looking for boxes.  -_-

yep loads of lower rank players going in higher rank games coz the crystals drop more and just going after crystal drops

they don't evan bother with the battle at all just the crystal drops

 

think ill be playing with crystal drops turned off  this has just screwed things up

 

though i do like that all the drop zones have changed and that you now only get 1 type of supply in each zone not all 3 in 1 place

This game was ****, boring ****. The last good one was a year of refreshing them approximately, when the tanks increased his velocity. The standard is going since then downwards. Daily 8-10 I played clocks, REBALANCE was next and is since I look in only, because I hope that he will turn towards something good. But falls down downwards only the standard... now I would suggest it the blueboxonline.com name.

You believe it, anybody reads what we write here? They are so with him, that well are furious ourselves, next shut up will be anyway!

 

My friends with a taller rank - according to me this a direct cutback! we already a lot we were buying everything, we are not already we are purchasing power, there is not need for us. New monkeys, the advertisements anyway bring for!

 

tanki, we take it away somewhere if our money is not needed!
