Playing 2042 I watched a teammate who was chasing the flag carrier stop, turn around and collect a crys box while the opponent capped the flag. 

 

No doubt this thread will be filled with thousands such examples unless the Dev team locks the thread to prevent further negative feedback.

 

I think the general consensus is that this update SUCKS BIG TIME.  Quite possibly the worst update since I began playing in March. And people wonder why I now hardly ever play my main accounts.  What's the point? The gameplay went downhill instantly with this update.  I'd rather just play my noob accounts and go on a tank killing spree....no flags, no control points, just blowing crap up.

Devs wanted skill, they got it...i am using all my little skills to grab crystal boxes... :lol: .....

Ridiculous update!!!

 

The number of crystal farmers has skyrocketed due to this update. Many battles have become nearly unplayable. Silly me, I thought the number of mults/ saboteurs couldn't get any higher as after the introduction of Smart Cooldowns. Well, Tanki proved me wrong!

 

And the worst part of it all is that there is no kick system anymore and the /vote option is broken. Please get your priorities straight Tanki!!!!!

 

As most of my games are CTF, I say the gold box update is possibly even worse then the system back when I started. It completely interferes with the main propose of the game (CTF that is), for up to 90(!) seconds now. Excuse me, but is Tanki deliberately stimulating people to do NOTHING for up to 90 seconds...

 

Crystal Farmers, Mults, Saboteurs, Tanki should ban them but all they do is stimulate and promote that behaviour......

TBH, I don't really like the update. Since people know where it's going to drop people just sit on the predictable stamp. And you also notice that this just inflates the value of crystals, right?

Good at least the Gold has been improved a bit by not taking a ridiculous 3min to drop.

 

I'm sorry Tanki, you have finished this game. I've been playing for 3 years now and never had an update released as bad as this.

 100 Crystal boxes sound cool but really everyone just waits for then to fall and just drug to get them. Before in DF I would of made over 1K since I posted this but I've only made 400. Crystals hardly drop and when they do the whole battle stops and runs towards them! I remember you saying the 10 crystal drops were a distraction but these 100 ones well...they are a even bigger distraction!

 

I thought smart cooldowns was bad well this topped it off, Tanki where is your head! I thought you could make this work but you couldn't. Did you even take you consideration into account? Well releasing an update the day after you tested it on the test server it really doesn't seem like it.

 

Tanki Gold is impossible to get. All the maps I've played in have had 1 drop zone for Gold. You said getting Golds now requires more skill, well unless you consider just trying to get on top of everyone more skill I don't know what you're talking about.  Gold was fine before why would you change it?

 

Also it looks like mults got there way there's only like 1 or 2 people on a team trying to win! Everyone else is just getting 100 crystal boxes!

I totally agree with you. 100 and even 50 crystal box is distraction, upto 20 is sufficient. I saw today, everyone was after crystal boxes. This has ruined the whole game.

I reccomend TankiOnline to reduce crystal box quantity.

Guys, if your a fan of Dm, play mines in the cry drop areas and any other area were something good drops. Good? Up vote if so, cause I play in ctf 100 crys drop red team guy guys and crystals are my+ that's earned naturally not the foll way 'oh look up up, drug 1 cry dropping''

 

Suggestion to all:

Play CTF/TDM Serphov and in blue team you get crystals+score. <--My suggestion that I love.

Now in XP w/ Crystals drop = more mults and less focus on battlefield

If you have a high rank with strong turet and hull, just camp on the drop zone when boxes have high contents. Great !! the higher ranks will be getting higher faster than the new players who will get improvement slower than before.

Since everyone wants the boxes, camping will get the preys served at home to be in addition the higher scorer. Very motivating, isn't it ? <_<
