Becoming a moderator

Since I get a lot of questions about this, I decided to make this a sticky. Here it is.

 

The process is as follows: you need to be over 18 (preferably - over 21), you need to have an immaculate ban record, you need to be active in the community, players and mods need to know you, you kneed to be well aware of the game rules and you need to be able to spend a sufficient amount of time in the game. If you think you qualify, write a brief statement which should include some personal background (age and etc.), prior experience as a chat moderator, why you want to be a mod and why do you think you'll do well. After this, existing moderators will vote on whether to accept you as a candidate. As a candidate, you get two commands - to warn and to ban for 5 minutes. You also get access to the candidates forum. After you spend a sufficient period of time as a candidate (usually about a month), you need to re-apply to become a moderator. Once again, existing mods will vote on this.

i have been a moderator in the game "stickarena"

i was a moderator there for at least 2-3months before i quit the game

i would like to become a moderator because in the lobby there is a lot

of swearing and spamming in the lobby, koolwalky is a moderator but

he is the only English moderator which might be pretty hard on him.

No clue why I got an hour ban for that and for playing a 1v1 with my friend and it was considered a flow game,

Yes it requires age.

 

EDIT: Really there aren't many 18+ people playing this game from the English side.

i think it is unfair kids over 10 or 12 an be mod too , not all, but much they could have a 1 week test time, the bans before not decide , everybody should get a chance man pls.

it's not unfair!!! it is like it is. the rules say strict a mod should be over 18 years old. just because you are younger doesn't mean it's unfair.

you can't get a drivers license befor 17(at least in germany), so is it unfair that you are not allowed to drive????

reason wanting to be a mod -

since the Russian and English chat rooms are separated i have noticed more,more and more

profanity and spam(mainly) has been going on. i have even noticed porn sites going on and

they average age that is in the lobby is 10-13 and which i find really uncalled for because all

they doing is polluting the tankionline lobby air. right now is the time to stop all the nonsense

going and support/fight for tankionline.

 

dear players i have been here for over a year and in the year 09 when the chats weren't separated

just about all the English players had to stick together not because they wanted to, because they had to!

let's put it like this in the year 09 there was only around 15-30 English members we did our best to run a

English clan to stick up for the English players. was it easy no? we had the least of respect! every where we

go we see this "go home Yankee" we hardly knew what it meant but the thing we knew about it was that they

was trying to insult us. did we let it break us no? we asked for separation in the lobby's and now that we finally

got it it seems like all you wan't to do it destroy us. let's all show some respect and stop the nonsense and stick

together your friend
