How a tank dies in Tanki: Explosion - Tank changes into a rusty tank.

 

My Idea was, why does a tank in tanki always die the same way, no matter what gun killed you.

A tank should die a different way depending on what weapon destroyed the tank.

 

Examples: If a tank gets destroyed by a Thunder the tank should explode into little pieces.

               If a tank gets destroyed by a Isida the tank should rip the tank apart.

               If a tank gets destroyed by a Firebird the tank should melt away.

 

The Devs can think about options for other guns.

 

This sounds crazy, but it would make the game a lot more realistic and fun.

It would be hard for the Devs that's for sure. Like for example, suppose someone's being burned by a firebird but then the kill is stolen by a smoky. Then what happens?

These effects are meant for tanks wich get destroyed, not for tanks wich are being attaced. So in you case, the tank would die the way a smoky would kill a tank while being on fire. But after all you're right, the effects are very hard to make.  :)

It will change into a snow tank and then collapses.

There will be some snow on the ground (wich disappears slowly)
