I think that this is not great idea, because now we must play to the batlle end - that is not good ( maybe someone needs to leave the batle befor the end ) and if the crystals fall everybody will collect them and thats will be war - that is the interesting in the game. If we only get crystals from battle found that will be a total catastrofy for the game and nobody will play it. ( starting with me first :( )

I like crystals, and miss them already. Maybe not as many drops as recently added, but at least go back to old way. They give the lower ranks another way to upgrade, and give less agile players ways to compete.

Bad experiment, you can't even get Crystals fast, you must wait till the verry end of the battle. and also the gold box update is weird becuase if you are killed and the message come. you can't even get the gold box.

Great. I think this will be much better for a few reasons.

Tankers will now focus more on the battle than on the crystal boxes. Eliminating the problem of having those that just join for them and simply getting distracted for one. Therefore, the fund will go higher and besides the crystals from the boxes going into the fund, there will be even more in the fund.

Great choice!

u are wrong man, this game is for fun right but camping for 100 crystalls box is not funy

this new update is good if u think like that : more golds + more found = more FUN

Crystal boxes being added to the fund sounds good. Though I hope Gold Box drops will be put back the way they were. Besides, "Gold box will be dropped soon" is classic now. :P

I hate this experiment. It has ruined the fun out of tanki for me. Now i have to be first and play in long matches just to get decent cry.

That is why, as of today we’ve removed crystal boxes from the game as an experiment. Crystals that would have dropped in boxes, will instead be added to the battle fund as many of you suggested. Gold boxes are dropped right after the notification, so as not to distract players from teamplay, and give everybody a shot at catching the gold. The experiment will be on until next week. We will then specify our next steps.

edit:- i am thinking about low rank players well if they have bad equipment then it is going to become more hard for them. to get to high ranks with better equipment. the only option left for them is to buy crystals. and overall it will make buyers more OP. as they dont rely much on drops and they will simply buy drugs and turn the matches around. 

 

i am not a buyer so right now i am short on drugs. without drugs it will become hard to win matches. and i will not get any crystals.

 

 

so the 10 box drops were cool. like i can pick it up while attacking enemy or defending base. it was not a big distraction except on double funds day.

but i am all cool with this update.
