First imprssions are:

 

AT LAST real Battles without collectors.  Peace during the game came back to me.

 

The gold box system is not good. the classic. gold box will drop soon with no landing mark was the best.

 

I think that the battle fund should be generated bit more so the loosing team can get something significant.

 

Idea___ : drop a silver box  with 500 crystals also  and you can also drop a 250 crystal bronze box. that adds some gold rush thrill. BUT please no landing mark just drop it anywhere

 

 

And now i can buy crystals to get the shaft M3. shame i lost my 2x yesterday because i was fed up with the collectors and i wouldn t continue the game. like this i can still enjoy and continue.

Good: reduces multing, encourages players to finish battles

Bad: Noobs against high ranks won't get any crystals

Solution for bad: Make the rank limit smaller

in this game we fight with 4 or 5 rank up enemies there hulls n guns are powerful so we cant make enough score for crystals and for me this is really bad idea.............

there is no fun in playing the game without crystal drops.what is so hard to just put the game back as it was a week ago?tanki is so boring now,if this update go permanent i will permanently quit tanki.this game is so dead now thereis nothing in it

A part of a previous post with a solution that IMO could satisfy a majority of Tankers regarding

the crystal drops:

 

"I do get it when Tankers get upset that when you catch zero flags you also get zero crystals.

Would it be harmful or bad if the loosing team always gets let 's say a 10% of the battlefund?

They lost ok, but they made the battle possible, and have put at least some effort (supplies) in it.

Why not reward them (...me  :D ) with at least a small amount?

This may also prevent that battles run empty.

 

The Tankers who do face problems with no crystal drops at all are the low rankers.

They often really need those dropped crystals, because they can 't earn them that well in regular battles.

Maybe Tanki could make a seperation between lower and higher ranks somewhere?

That would be ideal I think.

 

Let 's say that if you are joining a battle with only M0 and M1 equipment in it.

In rank that would be till Warrant Officer 5, you will still have crystalboxes of 10 dropping in the battle.

(this WO5 "border" is really just a wild guess, it 's only about the idea behind it)

 

If you are joining a battle from WO5 and above there won 't be any crystaldrops anymore.

By than you should have developed sufficient skills to earn your part of the crystals from the battlefund.

As a lower ranker you can still join these battles, but you wouldn 't have the chance to become

a crystal mult: simply because from WO5 and above there are no crystals to farm."

Collecting crystal boxes has been a part of Tanki Online from its earliest stages. However, it didn’t affect gameplay that much – boxes contained a modest number of crystals and collecting them wasn’t worth the time and effort. Plus, they would disappear over time. When developing the new drop box logics, we modeled crystal drops after supply boxes, without assuming that it would escalate the situation. The open testing didn’t unravel this problem either, as each account there had more than enough crystals so there was no reason to collect crystal drops. On release day, we thought that the complaints of tankers were caused due to doubled battle funds, which result in a larger number of crystals in drops.

 

However, we’ve recently changed our attitude towards feedback. We’ve started assessing and analyzing constructive feedback in the forum, counting positive and negative replies, and monitoring battle chats. This has helped us identify where the real problem lies. And we thank you for that!

 

That is why, as of today we’ve removed crystal boxes from the game as an experiment. Crystals that would have dropped in boxes, will instead be added to the battle fund as many of you suggested. Gold boxes are dropped right after the notification, so as not to distract players from teamplay, and give everybody a shot at catching the gold. The experiment will be on until next week. We will then specify our next steps.

wtf it sucks bring back the crystal boxs please  it some times is the only way 4 me to get crystals in battles some times your on a good team who knows what there doing and then there are bad teams that suck  so please bring back crystal boxs please i mean i just ranked up today but i'm still weak come on man it f ing suck and when you bring back crystal drops get rid of the 1 crystal boxs and the 5 crystal boxs they suck there to small whats the point of even trying to get them ps my rank is first sergeant thank you        u know i'v been in battles where tankers kill one another to get crystal boxs u know for the 50 boxs i'v used speed boost to get those boxs and that was the 19 th yesterday in highland ctf i mean if your on the loseing team with no flags you get nothing and that hapened to me today and i was in that battle for half an hour without crystal boxs yo never get new players to come back on cause they will lose battles and never get any crystals and then they won't ever come back cause you took away crystal boxs so be smart and put crystal boxs back in the game or no new players imea i remember when i started i did' not know what i was doing then around master corprel i started learing geting skills and now look where i am and its been around three months or less and i'm first sergeant i would probly be higher ranked but i use my libaryand i spend around 4 hours or more on the computer so please bring back crystal boxs please

then everyone will make a 5 min battle 1 vs 1 and get gold { noobish playing }

It is a very good experiment! More a tactical game. Very good. You must work together to achieve a good game result . Only then you get paid .
You should take the gold boxes are fast, but then you still have time to look around . Very good . It frustrates the game less and is an exciting break .

After playing a few battles, here there is my opinion: playing without crystals boxes is boring...and you feel very bad when you can't finish a battle, because you lost all your reward. Gold boxes fall more often, this is quite good, but after some time it becomes less unexpected and you lose all the taste to take the gold box: if gold boxes drop often, it becomes less exciting to take. Please bring us back the old system with 10 crystals boxes. The idea was good at the beginning, but it was addedit in the game in a bad way. EXPERIMENT FAILED to me. The only good thing are the marks on the ground for all supplies. I expected more from this update, but right now it is awful. :(
